You should add a setting in the "Gameplay" tab of the options menu that changes LOS and rendering and the tacmap and stuff to the systme used in the first Mechcommander.
I tried to do this myself by editing gamesys.fit, but it didn't seem to do anything when I tested it.

I know you guys aren't the original creators, but let me give you some feedback anyway.
The first mission is a little too difficult. Even with an Atlas and Cylops, my pilots keep having to punch out. I tried editing the level myself, but the editor crashed when I tried to save the modded version. Here are some ideas to make it easier;
1) Replace the Men Shen with a Raven
2) Connect the turrets to capturable turret controls
3) Replace the Jaegermech with a medium mech. I lost both a Cyclops and an Atlas because of that guy
4) Enable some the other support options.
You really need to find a voice actor.
Is that model rendered using the in-game graphics engine, or is it just an image taken of another rendering program?

Fun Fact: My mom got this game for my birthday when I was 9. I'm 14 now, and my next birthday is on the 22nd. Maybe I can make this my own birthday present.
This may sound like a stupid question, but can I get the game to run in a 1920 x 1080 resolution? Also, does it work with the trial version of the game? I have the full version, but the disc is scratched.
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but does this port/mod come with the models from the PS2 version, or does it use the HD Pack models?
I heard that Decay has even higher polygon counts than the High Definition Pack..
