I know you guys aren't the original creators, but let me give you some feedback anyway.

The first mission is a little too difficult. Even with an Atlas and Cylops, my pilots keep having to punch out. I tried editing the level myself, but the editor crashed when I tried to save the modded version. Here are some ideas to make it easier;

1) Replace the Men Shen with a Raven
2) Connect the turrets to capturable turret controls
3) Replace the Jaegermech with a medium mech. I lost both a Cyclops and an Atlas because of that guy
4) Enable some the other support options.

What is the FOV set to? Because I highly recommend that you set it to at least 90 degrees (and give the player the option to set it even higher if they really feel it necessary). This can help eliminate motion sickness.

Speaking of FOV, I was playing Half-Life Source a few weeks ago, and out of sheer boredom I set the FOV to 120 degrees with the console, and it felt like I was moving WAY faster than I actually was.

I have an idea: Dark Grey (and reflective) spheres, with vivid lights (blue for Player 1, orange for Player 2). The lights would change to green when they activate a button, and instead of a circle around an Aperture Symbol or around a smaller circle, it will just be a large, glowing Aperture symbol.

You should also make it so that you can rotate the camera.

Low Polygon would be under 35,000 Polygons, and High-Polygon (on the Source Engine) would be up to 60,000 (unless the Source Engine can now support 100,000 Polygons, which would be epic).

If I were you, I would use at least a 512 x 512 Texture (or 1024 x 1024 for HD).

Don't forget to add a high surface to drop from. Bouncing as soon as you touch it can be a problem.

Valve's solution (Repulsion Gel): Walking ontop of it doesn't cause you to bounce, and crouching prevents bouncing. It always bounces you from the same height you fall from, and it always bounces you a minimum height.

Those Muzzleflashes look a little too explosive and too cloudy. They also have too much orange. Make them smaller and smoother and less spread out, and make them more of an orange-ish white.

Also, those are some big bullet casings.

Try making the rust more of an orange-ish brown, spread it out, and put it in areas that would absorb alot of air moisture. Then it will look less like blood.

Also, make it all dirt/dust covered, and give it a bunch of dents and scratching (no remodling here, bumpmaps are on your side).

Looks similiar. Does it have to be as run down as it is in Portal 2, though? It was only 23 years. I am sure the Emergency Systems tried to maintain the facility (but eventually they stopped working).

Also, it has a Microwave and Mini-Fridge, but it also needs:

- Toilet (in booth or restroom)
- Sink
- Treadmill
- Books
- Pencil and Paper

And MAYBE you could make the bed a Bunkbed (it is too costly to build a bunch of storage pods for single Test Subjects, especially since they used to have so many).

Can you use actual "weapons" on this thing? Photon Torpedoes should be scrapped. Same thing with Phazers, they are extremely unreliable. I recommend Lasers, Ship-to-Ship Missile Launchers, and Projectile-based weaponry.

Dude, this game barely uses up about 40-50% of the PSP's Cpabilities, it not less. One PSP Game had the same graphics as it's PS2 Cousin, and it was only using 60% of the PS2 Technical Capabilities. These people can push the limits if necesarry.

Also, the GoldSource Engine has some advantages over the standard Quake Engine, and the PSP Hardware and Software can run the GoldSource Engine. THink about it, the PSP has even more powerful hardware than the DS, and someone got a Half-LIfe mod to run on DS.

Half-Life 2 has an MP7, that is the "SMG" that you use. But in reality, it is a machine pistol, which is way too small to fit a Grenade Launcher. Now the MP5 (Half-Life) is an actual Submachine Gun, which IS large enough for a Grenade Launcher.

Oh, I almost forgot.
You should add a setting in the "Gameplay" tab of the options menu that changes LOS and rendering and the tacmap and stuff to the systme used in the first Mechcommander.

I tried to do this myself by editing gamesys.fit, but it didn't seem to do anything when I tested it.

Nurb-based modelling software creates a ****-ton of unnecessary polygons. That contributes to poor performance and high memory consumption.

Just take a look at Nurb-based Software such as Rhino or SketchUp versus Non-Nurb software such as Blender or 3DS Max. There is a reason most modellers prefer the latter.

If there is one thing Nurbs are meant for, it is Studio-Quality Renders, but not Game Development.

Now can you please ditch the standard Star Fleet Spacecraft Design Regulations and design something that is more practical? Example:

Actual Armor in addition to shields, switching from Phazers to more reliable and in some cases more powerful weapons, like Projectile Weapons, Lasers, Anti-Fighter Missiles, Active Defence Systems, etc.

And maybe make some of the ships carry fighters.

Although those look nice, can you please work on redesigning the ships to be more practical? You know, good and reliable weapons (screw Phazers), actual missiles (Photon Torpedos suck), actual armor, engines that don't constantly screw up, security teams that act like actual soldiers instead of calmly walking down the hallway with their Phazers out, having the security teams wear body armor and use energy rifles (non-security personnel would still use standard Phazers for self-defence), etc.

First you irradiate your target, then they run searching for a friendly medic and irradiate them, then the enemy medic runs into the spawn room searching for MedKits and other Medics, and Irradiates everyone in there, and they freak out and run out looking for a medic, and they end up irradiating the sniper. Those were good days.

I believe that the Unreal Engine and Source Engine use the same software to make models. Well, the Unreal II Engine (Unreal II, Unreal Tournament 2003, Unreal Tournament 2004, Tribes: Vengeance) used the same modeling software as Source, but I am not sure about the Unreal 3 Engine

Fun fact: The Race X in Opposing Force were actually sent by the Combine to investigate Earth to determine wetehr or not it was worth taking over. Arm Cannon, aka Thermo-Nuclear Reactor with the cabaility to focus and launch it's own exhaust as a lethal weapon. That is what powers the suit.

Anyway, I think it should be more of a Plasma Bolt Launcher. And since Cold Plasma (only effective against Micro-Organisms) is not an effective weapon, go for Hot Plasma. And since Hot Plasma is bright blue, the weapon should have a blue glow. Does it spawn new cubes whenever they get destroyed? Also, try a Smartdrop System so that whenever a cube gets destroyed, it drops the right one, that way you won't need multiple droppers.
