Hey, I was watching the Alchemilla Alpha video from a year ago and was wondering how you did the transitions when you opened a door. Was it all mapping based, or were there code changes? I could venture a guess as to how you did it through mapping, but it's probably off. Care to comment?
This is normal teleports done with mapping. Adorned with the sounds and fads. To freeze a player and a black screen using a camera that shows a black room.
That's what I was thinking, but the players vision was always centered afterwards. I'm assuming after the camera stops taking control of the player's vision, it recenters their view?
Well, exactly. All the while we "teleeed" camera work, on and off at the last moment.
