yeah thats kinda lame, the 8.6 version has been streamlined, and the mod is very simple to install. bentraxx worked his *** off to make this awesome piece of work and you have the nerve to come onto his page and comment about how you can't be bothered to install it yourself, why even comment?

yeah, i would like to know as well, it would be great if i could just download a small patch to go from 8.5 to 8.6 instead of spending a few hours downloading the new version

so you solved it? when you say to copy the folder and dont replace the files, what exactly do you mean? copy the contents of the EP folder into the HDMOD folder? or copy the actual EP folder into the HDMOD folder?

yeah same for me. doors and npc's and such still have vanilla textures

that would be great! but are you sure all the shadows are dynamic? i know some were, due to moving light sources, but many if not most seemed completely static. regardless, it would be nice to hear directly from Bentraxx what he ran into while modding. i guess either way we'll find out in a matter of days.

thats a really good question, im not sure but i think the shadows were originally baked into the textures, and since this mod completely changes all the textures in the game its safe to assume it would mess with the shadows, unless Bentraxx kept that in mind when creating the new textures and copied the old shadow positions onto his textures.

YES! Keep up the awesome work, I seriously can't wait to play with this. I am a big thief fan, and I am waiting to replay the game I played so many years ago until this mod comes out, I want to re-experience it in this new-found glory, and boy am I excited, you are doing a great thing here.
