Yeah. I've never completed a mod before, but I've worked on one, and am developing a game, as you know. I'm also a game reviewer, so I know how much work goes into the development of a mod/game, and I've seen crunches and everything related to the design and development. It's truly amazing to see someone's idea take a "physical" form, for lack of a better word.
I appreciate your thoughts regarding mods--it's refreshing to see someone cares about true modding.
I just love people who flip their lids at every mod possible, and then you find out later the person is like 15 years old and/or has never worked on a mod before and wouldn't know the amount of work that goes into planning and developing them.
I'll say it again and again, people who get past the planning stages of a mod and into the development stage deserve nearly as much credit as the mods that actually get released, because I know how hard it is for mods to actually get off the ground.
ModDB offers a great resource, but the community seems to be going down the hole. After what I've seen and experienced, I'm hesitant everytime I want to make a newspost now. Sheesh :P
huh who are you ._.
