Hey I just wanted to say that the sky is the limit with your Dune mod. You can really make it stand out and be mentioned on the magazines man. Make it unique and have all the small details that you love that other developers brush over. It's not a matter if if you can - but why.
Woa this looks amazing. A little like the Simpsons, but still - wow. I hope this isn't too short!!! HUR HUR HURRR!
This could be fun on LAN! Infantry only anyone? Gigabit ethernet anyone?
Hey guys - I just wanted to let you know to please remember the gameplay. If you can't perfect it or make it addicting - just please copy Renegade's original gameplay (speed, health, etc) I don't want enemies that move at lightning speed or guns that take forever to kill a guy. Wish you guys all the best for Renegade X!
Hey Guys, could you ask for the source code for the engine? It would greatly benefit the whole graphical part of the game and it would surely enable more gameplay options.
Reminds me of the BF2 knife if you ask me..still nice.
Nice..well..tone it down by 30% and see if blood splat decals are possible (doubt it)
Oh YEAAAAA! (runs over car)
Hmm..reminds me of a little toy jeep instead of the real thing. Maybe it needs a more grungy kind of look? Maybe make it look a little more worn and not straight out of the factory. I'm sure you know that already :D
We need this car in flat out 2 or something :P
Buy it off steam. Ask your parents for some money or get a debit card, then link it to a pay pal account where you can use it to get it off steam. You need hl2 and css to begin with also. GL!
Adjust the ground a little...looks too..fake in a sense. I feel like I can fall through it. Make it a little more worn out somehow.
Reminds me of cs_compound :D
Add more props and make the place feel more rundown/realistic
NICE!!!! That must of taken a hell of a lot of work! GJ!
I have a question and it would be really nice if you guys answered it (Thanks!). Does your mod or will it allow players to be shot through the glass? So could it be possible that lets say a helicopter pilot gets shot with a sniper in the head through the glass, will he die? Can it be made possible? It would really make a nice touch if your in a helicopter, enemies are spraying at your heli and *boom* your pilot just dies!! Let me know if this stuff will be included. See ya and keep the good work (and realism) up!!!
Hey I just tried out your mod, its really nice. I was just wondering if you could provide a down to earth, idiot proof guide on how you injected those models into Max Payne? I understand it may take some time to write one and..make sure its clear and all but it would really help everyone to do some really fun stuff.
I have a question. When I played previous version of the kung fu mod and executed special bullet dodging moves, I noticed that the bullets will pass right through you when doing move. While doing a move, there is no difference between a bullet passing through your chest or between your arms or legs. Since the kungfu mod is being implemented into this mod I expect the bug to be carried on. Can this issue be addressed or is this an engine problem?
I also have one last question. It was known from Max Payne 1 that you cannot die while doing a bullet dodge. So if you do a bullet dodge right when a grenade explodes, you won't die. Is this issue also addressed in this mod?
-Thanks!
I installed it into c:/program files/valve/steam/steamapps/<username>/halflife/
and it doesn't show up on steam! I restarted steam a couple of times now and it doesn't show up! Do we have to create some shortcut to halflife.exe then change the command line parameter to something else? Like I don't understand. This is where I installed it to
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\(Ha not telling you)\half-life\Half-Life WE Full
How do you make it run with GL quake?
How do you run it with GL quake? I really need idiot-proof instructions. Thanks
