Lead developer of "Reykjavik - Iceland - GTS" a fallout 3 mod
I'd be happy with paying if it meant a faster and more polished game.
"Chivalry: Medieval Warfare" huh? A bit generic imo, but it's your game :P
Honestly see nothing wrong with Battle for Agatha, and for marketing purposes you might want to go back to (Age of) Chivalry since that's way better known, and once again less generic.
Anyway, the game is looking amazing, loved playing AoC back in the day :)
150,000$ to film a freaking hour long documentary on an indie developer that would (and has) do the interviews for free is absolutely absurd.
Plane tickets for let's say 6 people, both ways? 2000 TOPS, hotel for 2 weeks like 500$, they already have cameras, what the hell is this?
I wouldn't donate to this.
For example, "Super-size me", one of better known documentaries of the past few years, cost 65,000$ to make, and that's like Hollywood-quality, team of 50+ people. Look it up on Wikipedia.
Where does tgn.tv get their source? I see no mention of this on Notch's tumblr or twitter.
And how would it work for multiplayer?
Mataro: LOL'd hard
Graphics are stunning but I wish you'd pick a new name; "FPS Terminator" for a Terminator FPS is as boring as it gets :)
Ahh, looks fantastic guys, seriously please keep it up :)
Been tracking for like half a year but still waiting till it's standalone to download, cba installing UT3 again :/
That sniper's gorgeous btw.
I wonder what this could mean..
Sweet, looking forward to this :)
I like this, and good move on creating the "Community" page :)
Version 3 by the same guy, looks scarier and pretty cool in my opinion :)
Water for beam = clever :)
Oh that is awesome, was really looking forward to the non-beta version and I look forward to the L4D2 version as well since I prefer 2's arsenal.
Good luck and sorry for all the morons who rated your beta down :)
Oh god it's like Christmas in July!
Looks really great, also, Alien Breed was a 1993 game and I'm guessing both this and Alien Breed: Impact were inspired by the 1993 game.
Some of the best visuals I have ever seen in a mod/indie game, but I've seen flash games that are better balanced than this, sorry.
Hmm... cheese cake, you say ?
Rest in Peace, Loran :(
Looks great, probably am more excited for this than Black Mesa since I haven't played Blue Shift :P
Sorry if you're already doing this, but how about creating a couple of different zombie models and using all of them in the mod. One thing I really disliked about HL2 was how all the zombies were identical, just give them some different clothes or something :P
The old version was well made but I prefer the new version, it's pretty atmospheric, good job.
The president's name is a sideways "4"?
What a douche... (Three9)
This "mod" is one of the most disrespectful works I've ever seen. How is this still listed on Moddb? You obviously aren't an artist Three9 or have anything to do with the game industry, so I'll fill you in on my disgust with "your" project.
People work extremely hard on their art and games, and when someone comes along and not only takes their design work without their permission but uses it for their own and doesn't even give them credit, it's VERY offensive yet I still don't see you listing credit to Westwood anywhere. You should be ashamed of what you are doing, and I'll be sure to send an e-mail to Moddb devs about what you are doing. If they really knew what your project was you would be banned
Looks awesome, seems like the fire is slightly floating in the air though
tl;dr = Yes, Portal is enough.
The texture on the white car seems a bit too simple
He just uploaded the monster images in a bulk and included this one then named the gallery "Monsters" I guess.
Really sad that you cancelled, but why don't you release the source code so someone else could finish it (while still giving credits to you ofcourse) or learn from it? :(
Also, I doubt you would have been able to sell it on XBL because Pokémon is licensed.
Decided to give the game yet another shot;
-You encounter mercenaries
...and before I could even move an inch
-You were critically hit in the eyes for 42 damage, knocked down and blinded.
And in the second encounter I got one-shotted by a god damn rat. Seriously WTF is this? I'm really trying hard to enjoy this but it's really hard.
Alright, I really hate to be mean but this is probably the worst designed, unbalanced and unfair MMO, if not video game, I have ever played. But I know this is just a beta, I love Fallout (classics) and this has a huge amount of potential, if you would only make it a little easier on beginners.
I've been playing for like 30+ minutes now, here's my experience.
-Created a character, works pretty well, no complaints.
-Went to the hub, had no idea whatsoever on what I was supposed to do
-Went out to the world map, met a group of about 15 creatures fighting each other, tried joining the fight, just missed, then they stopped fighting each other and started hitting me, I went from about 30hp to 7 in a couple of seconds so I ran
-Started wandering around the hub again
-Went out again, met another group of creatures, had the same experience, no damage inflicted.
-Searched for some sort of guide to tell me how I can *actually* start the game. Found nothing.
-Went out a couple of more times, exact same experience, the last time I just thought "**** it" and let the wolves eat me, lost all my gear.
I played for 30 minutes without inflicting a single point of damage or gaining any items at all... I don't know how you can expect the majority of people to stick with the game if they're having similar experiences to the ones I had the first two times.
Now I'm done with the mean stuff, now it's on to the simple suggestions.
-Instanced beginner cave with a tutorial quest and some creatures, introducing you to combat and allowing you to find some items. Player should reach level 2 and have some weapons by the end of it. The quest would end with dialogue telling players where to start; where to find quests, how to get items, where to barter.
-A linked personal storage chest in every city and in the area where the player respawns
-I looked in like 20 containers and only found one which had items, please make like 90% of containers have items.
