It would be cool if you'd have special consequences based on that: you have Dawnbreaker and kill Meridia? => The weapon becomes useless, are you a vampire/werewolf and kill Molag Bal/Hircine? => you get instantly cured.

Had already played it and yep, it's still there. Kinda saddened by that, I'd have prefered if he'd make possible for Strauss to be diablerized to compensate, yet I get that it might've got the MC too op.
Did you fix that Tremere bug that limited the total amount of strength to 3 no matter if you used BloodBuff? Or you decided to conservate it (I thought that could be kept since Tremere can get literally all disciplines thanks to Diablerie but no other clan can do the same)?
After all the ruckus with Laidlaw I'd say it's like an unnoficial yet firm confirmation that Valve doesn't give two cents about the HL universe. Thus this'd be a really good time to finally have a sequel for the original.
Tried during my play and I could not do so... not annoyed though, had even believed it was made on purpose for balancing or something like that.
I'd say diablerie is fine as it is, it can seem op but remember that increased frenzy probability (even lower than vanilla game if you go down to only 1 humanity), also having occult items unavailable for a Sabbat player seems balanced taking diablerie into account.
Also, that's true, East LA needs some place to go shopping (also a place to dance and recover some humanity'd be nice). Regarding the spacing between places I find it fine taking into account it's located in the suburbs and not into the big city.
Lacroix's ending is actually the bad Camarilla ending (being Strauss' one the good one). Lacroix's too deranged to be easily convinced, even if you'd try to convince him the best you'd get is a back stab for sure.
Regarding Kuei-Jin and taking into account that Anarchs, Sabbat, Camarilla and even the indpendient ending have both a good and bad path, maybe Kuei-Jin'd have the same as well (not only a bad ending).
you're speaking about the absolute three point strength limit for the tremere right? Yet as things are now tremere have an advantage no other clan has, they can get literally all the available disciplines by using diablerie (since there's no Tremere available for diablerie no other clan can get Thaumaturgy).
I think it'd be balanced to allow Tremeres to get more than 3 points (using Bloodbuff or whatever) but only if a tremere character would be available for diablerie.
Any way to force the Brujah clan quest through console? didnt follow the right dialog options and I'm too far away to bother re doing it (also it'd be cool if the requisites for doing the clan quest'd be... a bit more open... it's way too easy to mess them up as they're now)
EDIT: nvm, pc.SetQuest("Bmagic",1) , now gonna be able to play it (it had been a little mistake during the dialoge, thus using a console code doesnt seem like a big deal).
Well the masquerade thing still makes some sense, if a blood hunt were to be called on the main character due to being way too obvious, no allegance to the Sabbat'd be useful to avoid that (quite the opposite indeed). Not sure, though, how such thing'd work on East LA.
They also dissapear forever (not even going back to haven) when you go to the Giovanni mansion while playing with the Sabbat.
After learning my lesson about not trusting deranged religious maniacs neither racist ghost people went with Victoria, and man, the ending was really awesome that time.
Meh, guess I'm already let down. Hours playing just to receive such crap as ending, at least I'd like to have been able to fight the Sabbat back or something (not that crazy considering my character had already beaten lots of Camarilla and Anarchs at the same time) just to receive a stupid stake from a not named vampire.
EDIT: also another problem, I just can't get low humanity while talking with Andrei and diablerize several vampires at the same time! I'd eventually get zero humanity, I mean, maybe I'd could... but if I have to be so utterly strict to play this game, I'd better watch a gameplay instead cause I'd have just as much decision power.
...even if I were to load an earlier save... how do I know how much influence I'd have? How do I know when and how should I won Andrei influence?
(Spoilers) Ugh, after all my efforts going with Hazel I just cant stop Andrei from opening the stupid sarcophagus! I followed all and each one of his orders and my humanity is 1, even I've got 10 at persuation, feeling cheated out man.
EDIT: so I'd just check and I've got andrei influence = 4 instead of 6. Quite a bummer, there's no other way of knowing about this at all from normal gameplay and I loathe the idea of having to use cheats to get the good ending.
FINAL EDIT: sigh... I let my saltiness get the best of me dammit. It'd be as obvious it'd not be a good ending, a decision as bad as allying with the Kuei-Jin, going with a malk as crazy as Hezel is always a bad idea.
Yes, eventually Lacroix will give you a mission about infiltrating the Sabbat instead of just killing everyone at Hallowbrook hotel as in the normal gameplay. It's all explained in detail here.
I see, thanks for answering, your mod is really awesome dude!
(SPOILERS) Hey gotta a question regarding the Sabbat quests... if I were to join the Sabbat as a spy, guess I wont be able to diablerize anyone at all then?...
EDIT: also, joining the Sabbat'd mean I'd insta-lose the Gangrel clan quest too am I right?
"There are a few other changes from the Unofficial Patch that also haven’t been included, mainly because of artistic differences. Most notably, the fight against the werewolf cannot be be fought or won in combat, unlike the Plus version of the Unofficial Patch."
Awww man, I'd love to fight the werewolf in a straight 1vs1. Could you made it optional at least?
Man really liking the idea behind the mod, yet it's obvious there are several very WIP features (like those "neutral" cities, the one in France that has a tank and everything, the soldiers there shoot some kind of weapon that makes a cloud of dust and no damage at all).
PD: The story of how Huan Carlos had run away from his husband made laugh as crazy, guess the dialogs aren't correctly replaced yet.
Yeah, gonna try the mod just now and I'd really like to leave a review, it seems really promising!
Dont wanna sound negative... but surely will wait till you merge it with patch 10 then (wanna get my revenge against the werewolf)
lmao there were parts of this that were really funny (specially when barney appears).
Extra update, followed your advice and worked like a charm... once the mod is finished (and even now) people'll surely update the wiki and problems like mine won't happen very often
Thanks for your answers, glad to see you're so invested in this mod. I'll check your save game, since it can be a bit diff to know how much balanced are troops in the game cause there's not enough info around available (that makes sense since this new update is quite new), for example my char is a drow, and I didn't even know my char was stronger at night (good info).
And I gotta reckon that sometimes problems can come from the siege mechanics themselves (they even got reworked in Bannerlord).
Ok, tried to like it... but the mages are way too OP seriously, tried to do a siege against the Drows... It didn't even began, I took my strongest troops and all dead in a single spell rain from their mages. I even tried moving behind a hill and yet the damage went through it, their AoE is way too big.
Loving the rest of the mod though (dont wanna sound all negative), the merge with Diplomacy is one of the things I was looking for the most.
Lmao, seems he always wanted to be a drow then.
Yeah, the mages' fire rain of doom can be the most annoying thing in this game.
Can't buy any Holy Symbol for my character, no village neither the main city sell them.
A kinda funny bug (yet not game breaking) I found is that when fighting in the Training Field my enemies are copies of myself that just don't move.
