You've reached the profile of AK151. How you wandered upon this profile, I do not know, and I sincerely apologize for your misfortune. Should you decide to stay and have a look around, you'll find writing (some decent, but most pretty bad), (mostly) failed experiments, and perhaps some music. You may also happen across some fo-Star Wars stuff, much of which I keep around as a lesson to myself in how to avoid being embarrassingly over-the-top and ridiculous. It exists primarily for the currently ongoing Star Wars role-playing group (yes, there is a somewhat-thriving Star Wars RP here, believe it or not). Anyways, enjoy your stay, have a nice day, and, as always, have fun!

Report RSS My Ships

Posted by on

Because I am extremely bored, want to talk about my creations, want to brag about my creations (at least I'm honest :P), and because the Star Wars role-playing on Mod DB has been increasing, I have decided to post a list of ships in my "role-playing" fleet, a rough outline of system specifications, and a summary of each ship and it's abilities. Each ship is part of the Drakkar Navy. The Drakkar are a race of extra-galactic reptilian warriors that are extremely advanced. I made up every aspect of them, and the same can be said for all of these ships. And yes, for all those reading and saying to themselves "Damn, this guy is a real nerd", you know what? You are absolutely right! Enjoy, and good day!
-------------------------------------------
Talon-class Assault Fighter
Manufacturer: Varies
Length: 15 meters

Shielding: Drakkar heavy fighter shielding (10 teratons)
Drakkar ion shielding
Drakkar thermal shielding
Countermeasures: Advanced ECM/ECCM programs
Armament: Modulating laser cannon/50mm repeating mass driver/homing missile/torpedo launchers (4)
Heavy anti-fighter rotary cannon (1)
Talons
Other attributes: Cloak generator
Emission masking stealth system
Talons
Role(s): Scout
Space-superiority fighter
Bomber

The Talon-class assault fighter, nicknamed the Star Talon, is the fastest and strongest fighter in the galaxy. It can easily oust anything on the battlefield, even Dragoons. It's anti-fighter cannons shred interceptors to pieces, and the modulating weapons allow the fighter to take on a Star Destroyer. They are also hyperdrive equipped and have full stealth capabilities, including a cloaking device. For this reason, the fighters are exceedingly rare, and only used by the most elite pilots. Like all Drakkar fighters, the Star Talon has three shields: perfectly designed heavy shielding that causes no reduction in speed or maneuverability, a thermal shield to protect against extremely high temperatures, and an ion shield that dissipates incoming ion particles, rendering ion weapons useless. These shields cause no reduction is speed or maneuverability, as they have been designed to consume as little space as possible and have been reduced in size many times to the point that they hardly take up any space at all. The Talons have also, like all Drakkar warships, been equipped with a highly advanced electronic warfare suite, allowing them to jam incoming guided projectiles and control automated fighters and turrets. The fighter also takes an advantage from its unique design. It is composed of a cockpit, which is surrounded by four prongs, the "talons". These can pierce enemy ships and knock fighters off course and even destroy them. They are made of Drakkar ramming steel and therefore can take incredible punishment before destruction.

Dragoon-class Fighter/Bomber

Manufacturer: Drakkar Sovereignty
Length: 20 meters
MGLT: 175 MGLT
Maximum atmospheric speed: 1500 km/h
Hyperdrive rating: Class 0.25
Shielding: Drakkar heavy fighter shielding (10 teratons)
Drakkar ion shielding
Drakkar thermal shielding
Countermeasures: Advanced ECM/ECCM programs
Armament: 50mm mass driver repeaters (2)
Anti-fighter missile launchers (2)
Repeating ion cannons (2)
Proton torpedo launchers (2)
150mm heavy mass accelerator (1)
Other attributes: Atmospheric stabilizer
Role(s): Space superiority fighter
Bomber
Escort

The fighter of the Drakkar Sovereignty (a FANNON race straight from my head), the Dragoon combines speed and maneuverability superior to that of an A-Wing and firepower greater than a Y-Wing to create one of the strongest fighters in the galaxy. It has three layers of shielding, regular, thermal, and ion, all of which cause no reduction in overall maneuverability or speed. Over the thousands of years of service, thousands of modifications have been made to the design, and the final result has proven to be the deadliest. It can win a dogfight against a TIE Interceptor and bomb a Star Destroyer to oblivion. In atmospheric combat, it can extend a stabilizer at the top of the ship, allowing for superior stability in atmospheric flight. Also, it is hyperdrive equipped, and the innovations of the Drakkar have allowed them to make it, along with other ships in their Navy, the fastest ships in the galaxy.

Torque-class assault gunship

Manufacturer: Drakkar Sovereignty
Length: 50 meters
MGLT: 150 MGLT
Maximum atmospheric speed: 1250 km/h
Hyperdrive rating: 0.25
Shielding: Drakkar heavy fighter shielding (10 teratons)
Drakkar ion shielding
Drakkar thermal shielding

150mm heavy mass accelerators (2)
85mm mass accelerator chin-gun (1)
Missile pods (2)
Side-mounted 75mm rotary turrets (8)
Top-mounted 75mm rotary turrets (4)
Complement: 25 drop pods
Role(s): Dropship
Gunship

The Torque-class gunship is the Drakkar counterpart to all of the dropships in every era. The design is robust, capable of holding twenty-five Drakkar warriors. In the event that a drop-zone is too hot for a landing, the warriors will leave the gunship in drop pods. The gunship is capable of strafing ground targets and has missiles to counter enemy fighters, along with quite a few laser turrets. It is also used in space to board enemy space craft, and on occasion, Torques will be launched in dogfights, where they can make use of their missile pods, which can hold armament ranging from anti-fighter warheads to nuclear devices. The gunship is an essential part of the Drakkar military, and in the heat of battle, it does not fail.

Dravix-class flak ship

Manufacturer: Drakkar Sovereignty
Length: 250 meters
MGLT: 140 MGLT
Maximum atmospheric speed: 1100 km/h
Hyperdrive rating: 0.25
Shielding: Drakkar heavy frigate shielding (150 teratons)
Drakkar ion shielding
Drakkar thermal shielding
Countermeasures: Advanced ECM/ECCM programs
Armament: 200mm flak cannons (15)
200mm penetration cannons (10)
Laser cannons (15)
Other attributes: Interchangeable explosive rounds
Role(s): Picket ship

The Dravix flak ship does exactly what the name implies. It fires flak rounds to protect larger vessels. The cannons fire projectiles that utilize a detonation sequence. After a set amount of time, the round will explode. This can be changed almost instantly, allowing flak ships to create a wall of exploding ammunition that fighters must get past. The flak ship also has cannons focused on piercing ship hulls, mainly in critical areas, such as engines, life support, or most commonly, shield generators.

Saber-class Monitor

Manufacturer: Drakkar Sovereignty
Length: 500 meters
MGLT: 150 MGLT
Maximum atmospheric speed: 1000 km/h
Hyperdrive rating: Class 0.25
Shielding: Drakkar heavy frigate shielding (500 teratons)
Drakkar ion shielding
Drakkar thermal shielding
Countermeasures: Advanced ECM/ECCM programs
Armament: 750-zettawatt very heavy turbobeam cannon (1)
600-teraton turbolaser cannons (2)
50-gigaton anti-fighter cannons (4)
Other attributes: fighter maneuverability
Fighter complement: Starfighter-type vessels (5)
Role(s): Monitor
Escort

The Saber-class Monitor is the backbone of the Drakkar fleets, offering incredible speed and maneuverability, and bundling it with the firepower that can take out a Star Destroyer. It is an excellent hit-and-run vessel, with the ability to warm-up and use a hyperdrive in a matter of seconds. It can out-maneuver almost any fighter, and it can overpower a capital ship with ease. The only reason that the Saber has not replaced the Dragoon is because the Dragoon is cheaper and a smaller target. The Saber is still one of the most frequently used ships in the Drakkar Navy, and it makes up most of the fleet.

Drashay-class cruiser

Manufacturer: Drakkar Sovereignty
Length: 750 meters
MGLT: 120 MGLT
Hyperdrive rating: Class 0.25
Shielding: Drakkar heavy frigate shielding (600 teratons)
Drakkar ion shielding
Drakkar thermal shielding
Countermeasures: Advanced ECM/ECCM programs
Armament: 250-exawatt heavy turbobeam cannons (16)
Proton torpedo launchers (8)
200-teraton turbolaser batteries (16)
75-teraton turbolaser batteries (32)
700-teraton heavy warhead launcher (1)
Fighter complement: Starfighter-type vessels (15)
Gunship-type vessels (2)
Role(s): Frigate
Patrol

The Drashay-class cruiser is a less used counterpart to the Saber. While not nearly as maneuverable, the Drashay has much greater firepower, and can take on ships much larger. It is also equipped with point defense guns to shoot down incoming fighters, and a warhead launcher that launches an explosive missile at a target, causing damage dependent on the payload of the warhead.

Drakiim-class battleship
Manufacturer: Drakkar Sovereignty
Length: 1,750 meters
MGLT: 110 MGLT
Hyperdrive rating: Class 0.25
Shielding: Drakkar heavy capital ship shielding (1 petaton)
Drakkar ion shielding
Drakkar thermal shielding
Countermeasures: Advanced ECM/ECCM programs
Armament: 900-exawatt turbobeam cannons (2)
650-teraton turbolaser cannons (2)
1.5-petaton proximity mine launchers (2)
300-teraton missile launchers (72)
300-exawatt heavy turbobeam cannons (4)
250-teraton heavy turbolaser batteries (4)
175-exawatt turbobeam cannons (16)
40-teraton turbolaser batteries (16)

One of the main capital ships used by the Drakkar, the Drakiim is so dedicated to weaponry, that artificial gravity was overlooked, and instead replaced with a rotating section. The Drakiim carries an immense amount of firepower, but sadly, most of it is located in the front, meaning that the ship will normally stay back in a conflict to avoid getting surrounded and overwhelmed.

Drakav-class battleship
Manufacturer: Drakkar Sovereignty
Length: 2,000 meters
MGLT: 100 MGLT
Hyperdrive rating: Class 0.25
Shielding: Drakkar heavy capital ship shielding (1 petaton)
Drakkar ion shielding
Drakkar thermal shielding
Countermeasures: Advanced ECM/ECCM programs
Armament: 300-exawatt heavy turbobeam cannons (8)
250-teraton heavy turbolaser batteries (8)
2.5m heavy mass driver launchers (16)
175-exawatt turbobeam cannons (24)
40-teraton turbolaser batteries (24)
600-megaton light point-defense turbolaser cannons (50)
700-teraton heavy warhead launchers (2)
Tractor-beam projectors (2)
Complement: Starfighter-type vessels (75)
Gunship type vessels (20)
Role(s): Battleship

The Drakav-class battleship is the primary capital ship of the Drakkar Sovereignty. It is a bit larger than a Star Destroyer, but far more powerful. They are as fast as the Drashay-class cruiser and more heavily armed, but more expensive to produce.

Drakvar-class battlecruiser

Manufacturer: Drakkar Sovereignty
Length: 10,000 meters
MGLT: 110 MGLT
Hyperdrive rating: Class 0.25
Shielding: Drakkar very heavy capital ship shielding (1 exaton)
Drakkar ion shielding
Drakkar thermal shielding
Countermeasures: Advanced ECM/ECCM programs
Armament: 900-zettawatt very heavy turbobeam cannons (2)
950-exawatt very heavy turbobeam cannons (10)
500-teraton very heavy turbolaser batteries (75)
250-teraton heavy turbolaser batteries (200)
40-teraton turbolaser batteries (500)
200-gigaton medium turbolaser batteries (1500)
600-megaton light point-defense turbolaser batteries (7000)
5m heavy mass driver launchers (100)
Tractor-beam projectors (5)
Gravity-well generators (2)
Complement: Starfighter-type vessels (150)
Gunship-type vessels (50)
Monitor-type vessels (4)
Role(s): Battlecruiser
Command ship

The Drakvar battlecruiser is the second strongest warship in the Drakkar fleet. It is equipped with devastating weaponry, and can almost match a Super Star Destroyer in combat. The main weapons of the Drakvar are 10 turbobeam cannons delivering 950 exawatts of energy to a target, which is equal to an estimated 820 teratons of power.

Cloakship

Manufacturer: Drakkar Sovereignty
Length: 250 kilometers
Width: 250 kilometers
Height: 250 kilometers
MGLT: 75 MGLT
Hyperdrive rating: Class 0.25
Armament: None
Shielding: Drakkar phase shielding
Other attributes: perfect cloaking device
Complement: Cloakship Pandora: Primary combat fleet
113th battlegroup
Amount in service: 1
Role(s): Carrier

The Cloakship is a new design. It is essentially a massive cube, capable of holding a huge amount of ships. One is in existence, the Pandora, and it holds my entire battle fleet and is basically a mobile command ship. It has no weapons, which puts a significant dent in the cost. However, this is compensated by the defenses. The ship has a perfect cloak. Nothing escapes, no emissions, no light, nothing. The ship is completely undetectable, even during hyperspace travel. It is capable of outrunning any non-Drakkar ship in the galaxy. If the enemy is able to trace the launch of the ships and fires on the cloakship, phase shields ensure that nothing hits. Phase shields are, in simplest terms, two massive, invisible, portals. A projectile can enter one portal, and come out the other. They can be activated at a moment's notice. The only drawback is that nothing can get out. If the phase shields activate, no ships can launch, but the ship is rendered invincible. The cloakship changes locations constantly, never willing to be caught off guard. The fighters launch using a catapult mechanism, accelerating them to impressive speeds before they leave the carrier. This makes the fighters less vulnerable, as they have already gained enough speed to dodge laser blasts, and they don't have to waste time accelerating while being bombarded. This also applies for gunship-type vessels, monitor-type vessels, and corvette-type vessels.

Fleet Numbers
After getting feedback about my original fleet, I deemed it (as did the entire community) unrealistic and recreated my fleet, basing it partially off of Ten10dix's layout and battle strategies (battlegroups, especially). Here is my remastered fleet:
-----------------------------------
Flagships
AK151: The Valiance: A powerful 33 kilometer dreadnought, the Valiance is equipped with an incredible array of weaponry. It can easily chop up an Executor-class Super Star Destroyer by itself. The hull is extremely durable, able to withstand huge amounts of punishment before breaking. It is resistant to shockwaves, rendering missiles not ineffective, but not as effective. The hull is equipped with an auto-repair system, nano-bots equipped with extremely small thrusters to allow them to operate in vacuum, and nano-armor that is both extremely durable and very resistant to heat, allowing them to withstand turbolaser hits. They can repair extremely fast. Massive damage takes a great deal of time to repair, but small fractures and cracks, such as those caused by an MCPS, are repaired in seconds. The nano-bots are all over the hull, allowing nearly every section to be repaired if damaged. However, most repairs take time. The shielding is extremely powerful, upgraded from the original design. In addition to this, the shield is cross-layered with particle shielding, which can block projectiles with ease. The Valiance also possesses a unique Drakkar shield design, built specifically to counter ion weapons. Ion weapons are composed of negative ion particles. The shield is made out of concentrated positive ion particles. If an ion blast hits, the ion particles negate themselves and no damage is done. The positive ion particles are constantly being replenished. This "ion shield" makes the Valiance immune to ion weapons. In the event that an ion weapon does utilize positive ion particles, there is another layer of negative particle shielding, away from the other layers. This will stop any ion blast with ease. The warship is also equipped with extremely advanced ECM (electronic countermeasure) and ECCM (electronic counter-countermeasure) programs. These programs are easily superior to typical ECM and ECCM programs, and even military-grade programs are easily overcome. These programs allow the Valiance to bypass jamming frequencies and disable missile auto-locks. In addition to this, the ship is equipped with an extremely powerful sensor system, and can even detect cloaked and stealthed ships. This includes ships and projectiles using ECM programs to hide from sensors. The Valiance has a huge amount of point defense cannons with pinpoint accuracy, allowing it to intercept turbolaser bolts before they strike a target. The Valiance holds 15 Dravix-class flakships, 10 Saber-class monitors and 500 Talon-class assault fighters, 500 Dragoon-class fighter/bombers, 250 Torque-class gunships, a prefabricated land base, and 3 battalions of troops and a battalion of ACU mechs, along with Saber 1 and Raven and Talon Squadron.

AK151: Saber 1: A highly modified Saber-class monitor that leads the Saber attack fleet. Serves as my flagship during hit-and-run missions.

AK151: The Pandora: The last remaining "Cloakship", built long ago in response to Thrawn's Imperium-class Ultra Star Destroyer. It is basically a massive cube. It is 250 kilometers long, 250 kilometers tall, and 250 kilometers wide. It has absolutely no weaponry, and is dedicated to hangar bays and defense. It has a massive hangar bay size. Its defenses are quite extensive as well. The ship has a "perfect cloak" generator, which masks it from all views. It is also equipped with a special type of shielding called "phase shields". These are basically two portals, on either side of the ship, on every side. They are omnidirectional. In short, if a plasma blast hits the shield, it is instantly transported to the other side. This makes the carrier invincible, but it cannot launch ships when the shields are up. The Pandora is my mobile command center and carries my battle fleet. It is equipped with an extremely powerful hyperdrive, and can outrun any non-Drakkar ship in the galaxy.

Drake Parker: The Furious: A 20 kilometer long dreadnought that can outmatch an Executor-class Super Star Destroyer, albeit with a great deal of damage. It is completely dedicated to weapons, and therefore has no fighter complement and weaker-than-average shields. Leads the 113th battlegroup.

Roy Korath: The Belleraphon: A modified Drakvar-class battlecruiser. It is equipped with advanced stealth systems and acts as a carrier for Umbris Squadron and the Voxyn. It's engine systems have been modified, and it is able to match the maneuverability and speed of a frigate. Part of the 113th battlegroup.

James Strath: The Agamemnon: A modified Drakiim-class battleship. It has enhanced shields and weapons systems, but no fighter complement. It has a powerful stealth drive. The Agamemnon leads the 96th strike group in combat. Its mine launchers are upgraded with high-yield proximity/remote-detonated mines, also equipped with stealth systems allowing the mines to bypass interceptors. All Drakiims in the 96th are equipped with these mine launchers.

Garret Pines: The Retribution: A modified Drashay-class frigate. It has increased speed, maneuverability, and weapons, at the expense of shields and point-defense, in which the former is weak and the latter is not present. Also equipped with stealth systems. It is an excellent hit-and-run ship, but it cannot take on a fleet by itself. Part of the 113th battlegroup.

Special Ships
-Saber 1: My personal Saber-class monitor. Heavily upgraded weapons, engines, and shields. Leads the Saber attack fleet.
-Talon Lead: My personal advanced Talon fighter. Heavily upgraded and modified.
-Shadow Wing: My personal infiltrator. It can hold 5 Talon fighters.
-Raven Squadron: 30 heavily upgraded Dragoon fighters. Piloted by elite Drakkar.
-Talon Squadron: 10 advanced Talon fighters. Piloted by elite Drakkar (and Sith, on occasion).
-Umbris Squadron: 5 Torque gunships modified for special operations, used to drop in a maximum of fifty elite Drakkar Dragoon commandos for raids or high-level boarding maneuvers.
-The Voxyn: A unique 75 meter long gunship dedicated entirely to weapons, with barely any room for troops. Acts as Umbris Squadron's ground fire support.
-The Belleraphon: A modified Drakvar battlecruiser equipped with stealth systems. Acts as Umbris Squadron's carrier and fire support.
-The Furious: A unique dreadnought dedicated entirely to weapons. Has no fighter complement and weaker-than-average shields.
-The Retribution: A modified Drashay frigate with upgraded maneuverability, weapons systems, and speed, at the expense of shields and point-defenses. Equipped with stealth systems.
-113th Battlegroup: 2 advanced Drakvar cruisers, 5 advanced Drakav cruisers, 10 advanced Drashay frigates, 15 advanced Dravix corvettes, the Retribution, the Belleraphon, and the Furious.
-Saber attack fleet: A fleet of 51 Saber-class monitors, very powerful vessels. They have enough firepower to take down a Star Destroyer and are extremely maneuverable. However, their hulls and shielding systems, while strong, are not strong enough to take repeated turbolaser hits. The ships
rely on their maneuverability as their main defense. They are excellent hit-and-run vessels, and can warm up a hyperdrive in a matter of seconds.
-96th Quick Strike Group: 16 advanced Drakiim-class battleships equipped with stealth systems. They have upgraded weapons and shields, but no fighter complement. They normally stay back, and will strike at an opponent from the sides using their mine launchers to do great amounts of damage.

Well, since the majority of the population felt that I was being too cheap (myself included, when I really thought about it), I've toned down my fleet immensely. My excuse for the sudden disappearance of quadrillions of ships is that they're spread around the galaxy. The huge numbers won't participate in ANY wars as of now. This is my fleet. Hope you guys like it!

I still stick by modified Interdictors cause Interdictors rock lol. I`m constructing a weapon that can outmatch each and every on of the ships listed here, no matter how many there are. And no, it isn`t a "huge weapon of mass destruction" with loads of superlasers and stuff. It`s something far more deadly *insert evil laugh*. It`s been in construction for a long time now, and the final phase of it`s construction is nearing an end. Luckily for you we are at Peace, so I`ll have to test it on pirate scum and rogue Sith/Republic/Jedi forces.

Ship"s"? Nope, I am only making one ship. This honestly is something never seen before, something hugely powerful that can easily withstand a whole fleet of SSDs with nearly no damage. You shall see when it`s contrusction is finished.

Good for you. I'm not even going to bother pointing out that Stygium does nothing to shields. Besides, even if your ships are more durable, mine are more maneuverable. And much more heavily armed.

How powerful is a zetaton, or a yottawatt anyway? How powerful are your weapons compared to standard turblasers and weapons commonly used in the star wars universe?

The average light turbolaser puts out around 26 gigatons of power. The larger variants go well into the teratons. A teraton is basically a (literally) trillion tons of TNT. Super Star Destroyer heavy turbolasers put out around 500-900 teratons of explosive power. 1 exawatt is equal to around 850 gigatons. All of the prefixes I used are here:

En.wikipedia.org

You can do the math, if you want. But the weapons are pretty accurately scaled to the Star Wars universe. They aren't TOO uber (until you get to the BIG ships) :P
