Well welcome to my blog guys, i guess i'll start updating this relatively regularly in my lunch break at work. It would appear some of my work mates have recently been messing around on my computer posting on various sites and forums which is a little annoying! Anyway enough about that nice work on V4 moddb. I'll post some more interesting stuff soon. Maybe i'll do a blog spot on texturing, modding or mod management i dunno..
See you on the field,

A group created for all the 2D Artists, Texture Artists and Skinners out there. Members can give advice and tutorials on the latest ways to make our mods...
By the way I uploaded 4 vid's of my mod to the site today, but you won't be able to see them untill they sorted out their video servers, which I hope they do soon as the modders that have already got vid's loaded up since before the switch over have got an unfair advantage in the MOTY's to thoughs who arn't able to upload their vid's yet, like myself.
Howvever I shouldn't complain as I got into the final TOP 100 last year in the MOTY's with no vid's at all but it would be nice to see how far I'd get up the tree with vid's, although I don't expect to win anything seeing my mod is for Max Payne, & theres very little following in mod circles form Max Payne now. Which I don't realy understand as the Max Payne engine ( MaxEd ), is far superior to Half-Life 1, in fact it's closer to Half-Life 2's game engine then HL1, yet people are still making mods for HL1, i.e the excellent ' Paranoia ', that's just been released.
I live in Kent the Garden of England ( or so they say ), in the south of the U.K.
What part of the U.K do you live in, if you don't mind me asking,as I also come from the U.K.
That's funny that you should ask me to becomming a friend as I was just thinking of doing the same to you, as you are alway's leaving me kind comment's about the work that i'm doing on my mod......Cheer's man.
should've posted this here instead of on my profile page, hopefully pm will be up soon :)
re: help with mapping
Thnx! I'll probably be taking you up on that offer throughout the next few weeks. I've had a couple of questions lately, but for the most part I've just gone without implementing the features that I couldn't get to work. It'll be nice to get some answers. :) Thnx again!
Hi!
Thnx, I've been meaning to, but right now I'm slogging through the mod. I've been concentrating on creating cel-shaded characters, and the process is antithetical to that of creating details/bump mapping. I'm sure my "realism" skills are deteriorating. Can you recommend any tutorials for zbrush? I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually.
Right now I'm working on animations, and I think it's coming along nicely! :) If you have a moment, plz take a look at http://www.dcdthegame.com/videos/minasMap.avi. It uses the xVid codec, if you prefer another format, plz let me know!
thanks for your answer aeneas we hope you'll do fine in RL!
whenever you have sparetime just say hello and we will be pleased to have you in the team!
regards Schuldi
