Happy one year closer to death!
Happy new year!
Happy New Year of 2012!
The one that happened in October i think, was the CNML contest, but the Euclid one is going to show up in April.Teachers recommend it,especially to students heading for UW.Believe me-it'll boost the chances of getting in (in my case anyway, don't think you'll have to worry that much!)Even participating in that contest will give a boost
Thats what they said on the OUAC site for UW engineering, taht you can apply for other engineering courses with the AIF.
on a side note do they do the Euclid Contest in your school?
Yeah,I think i won't bother getting it early though, ill wait for it to get cheap.59.99 for Generals 2 and 1.99 for Generals 1?Hmmph
Yeah i figured,it wont let me apply for any other engineering courses either.
But that's where the AIF form comes in,they said that you can mention any other programs that your interested in and they'll take a look if something can be worked out.Funny how physics works in UW,but is UW physics really something to make a career out of?
Regardless good luck with your application,or should i say grades!
Great, you seem pretty set for set for either Nano or Mechatronics!
I found those two a bit intimidating.I was considering mechatronics but with things like fluid dynamics at day 1,id rather take it the long way by doing mechanical first and then mechatronics.Hope luck's on my side this year, for me even mechanical seems a bit ambitious
Lol yeah my marks are pretty good, I still need to get a average in the high 80s to get in though... I'm in IB so that might give me an advantage too...
If you have a good understanding of physics and math (as well as the marks) then you should be set for engineering... Especially Mechanical since i'd imagine that's all you need... For Nanotech you need the chemistry since you're working with atoms and molecules... Although who you need chem for software engineering eludes me lol
