Its more of an FA-22 Raptor / F-35 Lighting II hybrid. It looks cool, but as waffle has said, doesn't look original.
I'm thinking of a look resembling the "Have Blue" experimental aircraft or FA-37 fighter from the movie "Stealth". Both are relatively future looking, and are original designs. A mix of the two would be interesting.
I'm liking the colours though. Except I think I would make the black sections a little lighter.

I think you should make the pitch of the light_enviromnent lower, and change the lighting to an orange-ish colour.

I've come to love Mass Effect. Don't expect anything from me for a while. A previous World War II Simulator ace, with a very large kill ratio, he came to Half Life 2 due to a system crash on his Flight Simulator, Aces High II.
