Well, I don't understand, why you all guys are talking like that? It was supposed to be finished last year, right. But, they been working on other things & they told it here, If you can't remember. In case of star citizen, how much fund they got think about it! Not only that, everyone have to pay whoever wanna play right now (though that is still on development stage). Have you ever payed to play this mod? Another thing, how the hell that huge fund is needed to build some ship? & game? Are you kidding? & while you been paying those guys you can tell them something to have something in return of money (oh, they don't care about your small amount)..... Lol, Star Citizen is the first game I have seen who selling in game ships on physical money. Just think you have to buy cars with your physical money to play in Need For Speed, will you play? or think about buying characters in King of the fighters to play, will you?. Bunch of *****/ knuckleheads.

Me too waiting eagerly for CF 2.0. But, I played 1.82. After that a long time I not updated. But, now there is no reason for downloading CF 1.9 when CF 2.0 is almost ready to release. As of my past experience, CF has original Campaigns intact but with challenges getting harder because of mod improvement. I love that though.
Also, with CF 2.0 there is micro mission system that can be included.... :) So, overall I become a big fan of it since I used it. Really, one of the best mod for freelancer till now.

"Yes, the counter on the page does not work. Its actually not broken... we disabled it some time ago as it was causing probs with the server. I had no time to look into that issue yet.

But yes. The storyline and with it the 10th and final chapter of the CF story is done. I got very positive feedback from the testers about the new missions, the re-build old missions and how we have let the story end.
Vanilla FL has 13 missions where some of them were edited by us to unlock a few hidden story elements. Crossfire 1.9 did contain 20 new missions which in most cases have been improved for CF 2.0 . And Crossfire 2.0 comes with 10 new story missions plus a bonus/side mission. So there are 44 great missions to play now.

The side mission(s) are something special in CF. With the CF2.0 release we deliver the first of these missions as example of how such story missions might look like and how they work. We encourage modders and storywriters to create their own missions and develop own small story strings that fit into CF. Such new side missions can then distributed by us to the users.
Like already mentioned, one of these side missions already exists and people are free to continue to develop the story we have started with that mission or start a short story from a different point. These side story unlock at specific times during the regular CF storyline and usually require to be found by exploring the mod.

Overall the current CF story is quiet complex with many twists and turns. In CF2.0 we improved the voice overs massively and also included many custom voice elements between the different characters. We also decided to introduce new story characters that are important for the storyline.
And with 42 small cut scenes that in some cases are used as cut scene sequences we certainly also have covered the cinematic part of the story telling."

As far I can say, the mod is dead! You better start playing Crossfire. A lot bigger & a real good mod may be one of the best.

According to BST summer time lasts till October 26th. Now, I'm kind of frustrated!

Story line at 93% and Server at 98% man I can't wait to see it to be 100% :P

Well, Waiting for CF 2.0. I upgraded my PC in April. My previous PC was more than 8 years old & played CF's previous version there. I just can't wait to see how will CF 2.0 will become in looks & performance on maximum Graphics settings. This PC got 1GB GPU, 4GB RAM along with 3 GHz 3rd Gen. Intel CPU & more on that I'm running 64 bit windows 7 ultimate...

10 Sections 100% complete! 2 sections, Server side at 98% and Story line at 93%. Not counting Bug fixes as it will show up more while progressing more.... Over all 99%. Thats good! hoping the CF 2.0 on my PC soon! :)

I'm keeping eye on Development Progress page, to see the progress.... almost everyday....

I just hope all of the modules(features) available in SP!

As far I can say-
1. After executing CF installer show it the path of your FLMM 1.31 installation. It will automatically get installed in FLMM.
2. Then run FLMM, activate the CF mod.
Thats all. If you need a no-CD patch Google it! Thanks.

Any possible date of release! 3 Years! For me this is 4 years!
