Hello I am starting an elite halo mod site. I would like to nominate you for my first video.
You need to darken them all evenly. You also have to save in the correct format. Explore the other different kinds of formats that came with the dds plugin- one of the combinations of numbers and letters will be it.
PS: Yea..I tried doing lightmaps and it only gave me weird looking textures. Like they weren't multi colored (if you converted it to a wrong format) but they were a lot darker and they did not blend with all the other textures in BG. So yea..I just modded the weapons more and just had to accept that lightmaps didn't work for me (and take so long to do).
