We're sorry, but no blog posts were found here. Boring yes, but as confucius always said - if you have nothing good to say, why say anything at all? Check back later, perhaps something exciting will pop-up and be worth blogging about, like season 3 of the teletubbies.
Speak your mind, rant about games, mods and the development scene, it's simple and who knows maybe someone will read it and agree. It will feel right!

Hah, remember that idea I had a long time ago? Well, Im finally going to get around to seeing if I can pull it off. Of course, I still have the original Unreal Tournament, but Im hunting down UnrealScript tutorials for it, and Im gonna try my hand at the level editor.
ih
so if i win at life do i get a prize?
I feel honored to have a quote in a sig, but you spelled my name wrong :(
I've started looking through scripting tutorials for the original UT/Unreal, since I actually have those on hand and can start learning right away. Its a bit daunting looking though, but Im sure I'll get the hang of it once I try a few of the tut's out myself. Sooner or later I'll actually get ahold of UT2004. Has the coding changed enough through the incarnations to where I should be worried about learning too many archaeic lines/techniques?
Hi GibSan!
You know - I never asked you to help my team out, because I felt you were gonna say "no" anyway. In the forums however you answered that guy who's making Sacrator mod. You said you didn't have the time, yet would help out, if the mod struck your attention...
Me and my team are making a Machinima on UE3, which is based entirely on modded content. We are using a customised rotoscope shader on top of it and hope to achieve a unique look to fit the Sci-Fi theme. I really need someone good to code for us. It won't be that much work on the coding side, but I feel we are gonna need a hand with it.
I'd be happy to send you more info (www.gaiamedia.de; bit outdated - we are gonna produce on UT3 not Doom3), but I understand that this may not be the kind of project you're interested in. Filling Floor (1+2) are great, btw. Almost been living in this game for a couple of weeks.
Cheers,
SinKing
Hey, what can I say. When Im getting advice from people who've been around longer in the area Im asking about, its usually good to listen instead of waiting to be praised. Sides, any idea's good from anyone's standpoint :P
I wont be needing any help right now anyways, but Im slowley accumulating more ideas I'd like to see in the mod. But the four core idea's take precedence over these, since thats really what Im aiming to intergrate.
For the positive feedback on my forum post. :P I was expecting to get flamed at first by coders for having unrealistic expectations. Guess they arnt as unrealistic as I suspected. Hopefully I'll get some stuff out on the table.
Professionalisitc is a word in the English dictionary... seriously. Checked that with one of my professors.
I get called "meth", so I thought I'd pass on the abbreviation fun. "Meth" just either reminds me of methelated spirits, or crystal meth, as in methanphetamines, neither of which I particularly want to be associated with. "Gibs" is kinda nice though. Seeing as you presumably like zombie gametypes, and therefore giblets, I think it's fitting. ;)
