Load into a map like "The Gustav line", spawn as americans and get into a sherman and try spinning the turret 360 degrees and then aiming at something. Then go to FH2, load a map like "Operation Cobra" and do the same thing. Rotating the turret is way easier in FH2. It's easier to spin and easier to aim precisely at something.

I never said that I like the vanilla weapon handling either. It's pretty much universally hated. With STG44 and MP40 I was referring to their lack of recoil and "weak" sounds. As for other weapons I like the way they handle but I still think that they do too much damage, especially at long range. It's annoying to get killed because some bot randomly scored an impossible shot. It's also annoying in FH2 however I don't hold it against that mod because it's meant to be highly realistic and it's also somewhat made for multiplayera and not just SP.

This mod is made primarly for singleplayer and bots in BF2 obviously aren't the best. Sometimes they can shoot you across the entire map and other times they don't shoot you when you're standing right next to them. They're inconsistent and with weapons that can kill you in 1 shot no matter how far away, you're not giving them any room for error. The encounters are rarely balanced. Either I slaughter a whole squads of bots without them getting even close to killing me or they kill me before I can even see them. Because of that right now the gameplay is the best on smaller, more closed or linear maps.

There are some things that could be improved:
- The weapons deal too much damage which makes the gameplay unfun (I spend most of the time trying to avoid getting randomly hit by a stray bullet and going to the respawn menu). Even in FH2 weapons do less damage (especially pistols and SMGs) and FH2 is a realistc milsim mod.
- Machineguns and certain pistols are also too accurate. Overall I suggest nerfing most weapons (lowering damage, increasing damage falloff) so that rifles at around medium to long range kill in 2 shots (not 1), MGs are less accurate (while ADS) unless you are prone or at least crouching and pistols don't kill in 2 shots to the legs.
- PPD 40 is always laser accurate. STG44 and MP40 don't feel good to shoot.
- Tank turrets are annoying. It feels like you are always fighting them. They either refuse to move (e.g. Sherman) or refuse to stop moving (e.g. BT-7). FH2 does a good job of making tank turrets feel heavy whilst still being easy to use.
- A lot of the planes have weird handling (especially british ones), their gun sights aren't aligned, IL-2 with gun pods has ridiculous recoil and Mig-3 as a whole.

I think that overall this mod has a lot of potential. Good luck with development!

Why do you have to use a radio station to give orders as the commander? Most maps don't even have a radio station. So why is this a feature?

For some reason the crosshair is gone from all mods and the vanilla game. I have no idea how or why is it gone and i've never had it happen before installing this mod. I haven't touched the game files myself, I only installed the mod and now there is no crosshair in any mods nor the vanilla bf2. Another thing I noticed is that now weapons in all mods don't reload automatically when they run out of ammo.

There are a lot of things to improve in this mod. Best way to see that is to have 76 bots and play e.g. Battle of Tobruk, Battle of 76 Easting or El alamein as a squad leader.
The bots are broken, they often get stuck (usually on stationary guns), they don't really move to the frontlines and often defend flags that don't need to be defended or attack bases for no reason and they often refuse to get into tanks.
There is too much smoke which means you can't see anyone while the AI can still see you. Sights on many weapons are not centered on the screen. The movement is too soapy, jumping depletes 1/3 of your stamina. Animations take way too much time. I want to play the game not watch animations of slowly pulling out a gun and cocking it every time or of slowly showing the magazine and inserting it while i'm surrounded by enemies.
The mod is also unbalanced. You constantly die from an endless barrage of artillery, bombs, tanks and machineguns. I once saw a ZIL-157 charge into the frontline and obliterate a group of 5 israeli tanks in a few seconds, which shows how op arty is.
Tanks and all stationary guns move their turrets too slowly which makes them a chore to use. Control points can be captured quicker then in vanilla which means that often a single bot gets into a heli and paradrops on some CP behind the lines and captures it in 4 seconds.

there are some problems with Battle of Britain map

firstly bots don't enter british factory which means that the german planes will not attack it

secondly germans don't have enough planes to do any serious damage, this can be fixed by adding more german planes and spawns so bots can use them

thirdly bots on the british side get into an AA gun and then leave shortly after from no reason, leaving AA gun unmanned (excluding radar towers)

fourthly british bots lack a spawnpoint on their airfields, most of them are standing around the factory doing nothing for the whole round

how much patches do you plan releasing? also could you make 1 or 2 fun maps that aren't historicly accurate and have prototypes and have experimental weapons and are mainly made for fun

btw sturmovik gunner menu icon is missing

you have 2 diffrent rifles springfield and no4 with bayonet, you don't need 2 rifles, like can't you have 1 rifle and attach bayonet to it insted of carrying 2 rifles, if you don't have springfield with bayonet (wich i don't see in objects.rfa) then neither give a knife as first weapon or create springfield with bayonet
hope you understand the problem now...

I've found new things to fix/improve after patch 2.2
- if you walk on enterprise tower, you can walk trough barriers
- on pearl harbor allied bots don't get into planes and allied planes don't respawn and allied rifle assault kit has two diffrent rifle models
- falk 38 shells rarley explode and if you hit a direct hit with flak38 it almost deals no damage to the plane
- spawn stationary_dp and get into it to find out
- kv2 has kv1 wreck
- prokhorovka has lots of floating ammoboxes
- AI doesn't fire hull mg in tanks
- plane cannons are weak
also will you be adding new weapon sounds becouse many weapons sound the same and why on ohau map allies only get p40e aircraft?
hope you fix these things and further improve the mod
