Load into a map like "The Gustav line", spawn as americans and get into a sherman and try spinning the turret 360 degrees and then aiming at something. Then go to FH2, load a map like "Operation Cobra" and do the same thing. Rotating the turret is way easier in FH2. It's easier to spin and easier to aim precisely at something.
I never said that I like the vanilla weapon handling either. It's pretty much universally hated. With STG44 and MP40 I was referring to their lack of recoil and "weak" sounds. As for other weapons I like the way they handle but I still think that they do too much damage, especially at long range. It's annoying to get killed because some bot randomly scored an impossible shot. It's also annoying in FH2 however I don't hold it against that mod because it's meant to be highly realistic and it's also somewhat made for multiplayera and not just SP.
This mod is made primarly for singleplayer and bots in BF2 obviously aren't the best. Sometimes they can shoot you across the entire map and other times they don't shoot you when you're standing right next to them. They're inconsistent and with weapons that can kill you in 1 shot no matter how far away, you're not giving them any room for error. The encounters are rarely balanced. Either I slaughter a whole squads of bots without them getting even close to killing me or they kill me before I can even see them. Because of that right now the gameplay is the best on smaller, more closed or linear maps.
