Latest Blog Entry

We're sorry, but no blog posts were found here. Boring yes, but as confucius always said - if you have nothing good to say, why say anything at all? Check back later, perhaps something exciting will pop-up and be worth blogging about, like season 3 of the teletubbies.

Speak your mind, rant about games, mods and the development scene, it's simple and who knows maybe someone will read it and agree. It will feel right!

sigh

Apparently this is rocket science for you, so I will explain it in simple terms.

Load up Steam.

Right click on any HL1 mod you want, or Half-Life itself. (Might as well do all of them, really.)

Select Properties.

Click "Set Launch Options"

Type the following:

-heapsize N

where N is the amount of RAM you want to allocate- so, 128mb would be 128000. Max is 131072, so if your RAM stretches into the Gb range, you might as well go with the most you can get.

Select OK.

There. That should solve your problem.

If you've played through all three normal paths and seen the three normal endings, and properly explored, you should've found the ten papers. The total code (in the order I found them and wrote them down) is:

V2 N4 O16 E32 M12 F26 I49 G27 E23 _45 (the last digit has no letter on the paper, and is lying at the feet of a hanged man at the very end of the game on path 3. The hanged man is wearing a sign that says "The Road Ends Here".)

I've unfortunately yet to figure out how to use the code, what order they're supposed to be in, and I've yet to open the door. If you press E on a button it makes a clicking noise, so I assume that's how you'd enter the code, just by clicking the right numbers in the right order.

"In a few cases the entire body of the zombie must be destroyed, generally by burning, as individual body parts continue to move after being severed from the body."

So in some cases, such as Killing Floor mod, severing the head just isnt enough. Study your Zomblars before pretending to be the Almighty Know-It-All of them.

Hi
Can you send me an email letting me know exactly when it exits to desktop (when you activate the mod, when you start a new game, etc...).
Do you have the HL v1.1.1.0 patch and are you playing with at least 640x480 resolution?
Regards
PhilG
