I'm contemplating strongly about getting it...

Well I propose to scrap the cold war setting and throw it up a notch to sci-fi. So much more can be done in sci-fi than in modern day warfare. And the thing is, you won't have to scrap any of the ideas.
Uhhh, in world history we went all the way from Sumerian and Indus Valley civilizations to the Communist Revolution.
We learned quite a bit about other countries than America. ;)
