My view on the new Call of Duty blog - 5amura1

I just wanted to talk about the new Call of Duty game; Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

I watched the trailer today and saw that it takes place in the year 2025, in my mind, I think that setting any Call of Duty game in the future is a bad move, Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 are set in the future as well, but they still had today's weaponry making it more closer to now than tomorrow like BO2, I can say that I will not be buying the game because I think it has ruined the series, Call of Duty has never been a Science Fiction game, it has always been Action, I never like MW2 because it was predictable that Russia and America goes to war and Russia invading America, then MW3 with Russia Invading Europe starting World War III, I thought from there that the games have gone downhill.

Modern Warfare 1 was better for the reason that it reflected the times our world is in now, War in the middle east and that, Black Ops 1 was great but if should not have claimed to be set in the Cold War unless it was to be set through all the 45 years of the Cold War, but still a good game, I still play it (Xbox 360).

But now another Call of Duty is coming, I really thought they should had ended with MW3 because there was really nothing left to make, but I was wrong, they chose the wrong path by setting the new CoD game in the future, I actually knew they would because what more was there to do?

Anyways, that is my review on the modern based Call of Duty Games, now to rate them all:

Call of Duty= 8.5/10
Call of Duty 2= 9/10
Call of Duty 3= 8/10
Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare= 9.5/10
Call of Duty World At War= 9.8/10 (But I hate the modders)
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2= 7/10
Call of Duty Black Ops= 9.8/10
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3= 8.5/10
If I have to rate
Call of Duty Black Ops II= 6/10 (Too futuristic and just a bad move to make, should've left it at MW3)
