Actually, my best ever. Yeah, I'm not that fast, and I'm actually more on Junior Varsity, but I have gotten two Varsity letters during my high school Cross Country career.
But hey, I still enjoy it.
21:15, but once I heal, I'm sure I can beat that time. I've been doing much better than I did last time, so I can probably accomplish that.
Yup. I'm actually the Team Captain for my high school team. The problem is I'm also trying to recover from my problematic ankle that's acting up when I sprained it in the springtime, so I haven't really been able to involve myself with the team as much as I'd like to. I did run in a meet yesterday, but I got a minute worse than I usually do, and I know I would've done much better had my ankle been functioning properly.
But hey, so long as I'm still out there doing it, I enjoy it a lot. Nothing like looking back in the crowd and noticing that you beat some real tough people at running. :)
