It's a multipurpose starfighter and therefore doesn't specialise entirely in fighter to fighter combat, similiar (combat wise) to how they are depicted in Battlefront II.

Could do it BFII Style. Make a space variant of the LAAT and/or the HMP and simply give it the 'Hijack Vehicle' ability.
Seems pretty do-able to me.
I think deploy-able Clone Marines with a boarding ability would be a nice addition, considering that we see Saesee Tiin with some Clones do it during the Battle of Coruscant in Clone Wars Chapter 23.
I could accept the first two with ease as there isn't much about witches and Maul is simply merging old details together, but the mandalorians bit is unacceptable. Primarily because the changes to Mandalore in TCW led to the cancellation of the last book in Karen Traviss' Republic Commando book series.

These we present in Battlefront II, the one you refer to is the Mechanized Assault Flyer (MAF)
That singular image cannot be used as an representation for an entire planet covered in spires, mesas and barren ground. And as for a fact variable Star Wars sources show the planets terrain to be a lot more developed than simple duplicated flat ground, so in this case in regards to the screenshot Cognosco is correct.
However this isn't the full map and there is quite a lot of variation in how it is laid out.

Hyena-class bombers don't have any textures and rebel missile cruisers aren't targeted by ships despite user input. Please sort this out.

Will the landing pad for air units be able to be captured like normal landing zones or is it exclusive to a particular side and can be destroyed /repaired over time like in skirmish mode?
If the Star Destroyer could be moved into position for the Orbital Bombardment feature, that would kinda blow my mind

Agreed. The armour is far too fresh, it needs a little wear and tear to make it seem like it's endured some form of combat.
Canon...A minority of clone troopers kept their Phase I Armour such as the clone advisor of the clone commando team Delta Squad. :)

How about some darkish metallic textures. A little dirt near the bottom should be fairly reasonable too if you intending to make the vending machines an outdoor prop.
looks really promising, but combat/balance wise, you might want to somewhat enhance the zombies in terms of movement speed and and melee take so they have some kind of edge over the gun wielding units.
All in all, its looking great, keep up the good work :D
