i guess its a bit late now to reply to you(since i got untouchd with moddb since its new lay out SMELLS and i dislike it, and find it VERY inconvenient to before!!!) but i hosted a server on SoW2 ages ago, and it was soo buggy i just shut it down the next day... i mean u havnt got a player model so u cant see anyone... and the game crashes constantly over just shooting ur gun at random times... its very flawed and not worth a try till its fixed up.

you run a server? you were talking about SoW2. and yeah wanted to play that game for the first time...

yous 2 are a BIT WAY UBER TOO LONG LATE mate... the subject was a BIT old, an err, just so yas know, i meant that valve emself DIDNT come up with teh plots 4 DoD an CS soo thats why i kinda meant it wasnt really valve, but the noob cakes who pawnd it to life with noob cake hammer or sumthing, valve just recruit good modders so they get popular, without HL1, they wouldnt hav shit, HL2 has mad graphics an physics, but SHITHOUSE Single Player, Maps on SP, SHORT sp(way shorter then HL1), and there were like 6 missing weapons or so for HL2, if thye atleast put more weapons...
the point is, the HL craeting group of valve SUCK. the CS guys still did good on CS source tho, the origional valve guys would suck without em.

but HL2 is only good cuz the source engine(not really HL2) is good for modders to mod uber mad ideas(sven coop2, zombie panic source, insect infestation.. etc) so in the end, Valve is a nub cake company with just good engines to scab free Hammer tools and let the community waste their time(and learning time) to become dumbass people(like me) and have a crap ass job an work at franklins(like me) and suck for the rest of their lives...

the only things i enjoy is computer games, food, people who dont suck, HL1 mods and hl2 mods, drink ups, farting REAL loud to piss off ugly chicks at work(and make em go away :)), camping in the outback(Australia has the best bush), and sleeping.

This may be a bit late, but it is true. I'm not well versed in DoD lore, but certanly the punks who made CounterStrike were employed by VALVe when they released "proper" versions (ie: <beta). They were indie modders when they concieved and core created CS, but when VALVe were like "we like you!" they were like "cool." and VALVe were like "wanna job?" and they said "yes."*

Counter-Strike is an expansion to Half-Life. Official. Moddb staff retain the right to register whatever they want!
