Well let's see..... I like to spend inordinate amounts of time mucking about in 3D. Animation, Texture painting, level design....some coding I'd have to say I get the most fun out of designing art for game environments, but i like to try my hand at everything. Why should you care? Cuz I made a mod called Killing Floor. Other than that, I am working on a new project called Depth...Check the profile on this site!
We're sorry, but no blog posts were found here. Boring yes, but as confucius always said - if you have nothing good to say, why say anything at all? Check back later, perhaps something exciting will pop-up and be worth blogging about, like season 3 of the teletubbies.
Speak your mind, rant about games, mods and the development scene, it's simple and who knows maybe someone will read it and agree. It will feel right!

Meh I only told what the buttons do so it wouldn't seem like I half assed it ;) (Which I usually do)
It's still on if you're up for it. I thought I'd been clear, but I guess I hadn't. I've got to wait for an investment of mine to mature before I can get started on the project proper. I know you regard yourself as a texture artist, but how do you go for character modeling? That option may indeed be open for payed work as well.
I'll talk on MSN sometime.
Awwwwww :( Well, I was also wondering. I've been working on custom models for KF (just recreations of the origonal weapons, but more accurate and detailed), and I was wondering if I could donate them to you when finished? Looks like you guys could use some new weapon models, but entirely up to you.
LUV!!!!!! ^_^
I'd like to know what music program was used for Killing floor, I really liked the music made for the mod, some atmospheric, others dark, heavy and up beat.
I have Reason 3.0...(with it's last update) but it has problems :(....hows that, I spend a crap load on the program and customer support can't even help me out with the problem, a problem that alot of people have with the program...how ridiculous.
I also use fruity loops, but it's kindof...crappy.
lol at BlckWyerve.
Grow up mate, people are allowed to have their own opinions, those which are negative are included, if you don't like negative opinions then rack off!
Sure, I find it annoying when people judge a game based off one single negative about that game, they expect a game to be perfect, but something everyone has to learn is that negative opinions on a mod help the mod team more than those positive opinions.
Negative opinions let modders know what needs to be looked at and what may need to be fixed later on.
Even if a person flames like crazy and says every single obsene word possible and somewhere in their terribly abusive flaming post it says "pistols shouldnt slow down the player"...then that post can be viewed in a constructive way.
I will be making a zombie mod later on (i'm in the process, but not announcing it yet) and I KNOW that I will get negative feedback..it's inevitable, but I know that there are several types of feedback..let me just list a few main types here for you:
- Constructive/positive (A happy, cheerful, nice positive comment made that tells you that a certain aspect of the mod is done right and should remain)
- Positive (General positive happy comments, intended to announce that a person is pleased with the mod)
- Negative/Positive (a bit of both sides, usually done in reviews)
- Constructive/negative (Suggestions that ask for improvements on certain aspects of a mod, or comment on features of the mod that needs to be taken out or added)
- negative (general displeased response, person doesn't like what they see, they let people know this, and they either go onto the next one down, or they just move on, often coming back later to see if the mod has made progress)
- Flaming/trolling/negative (Kindof like Abusive, only flaming and trolling negative feedback is intended to cause trouble, and provoke flame wars)
- Abusive/negative (VERY displeased response, usually intended to make a STRONG message to the authors, that they are not very happy at all with the mod and that it is rubbish, sometimes personal abuse is directed at the authors)
- Constructive/abusive/negative (Same as above, only with added constructive comments, a non constructive abusive negative comment is generally just saying that they do not like the mod, where as a construcive abisive negative comment actually has some information in the comment that can possible be used to make the game better.)
- Immature Fanboi comments (comments made by immature fanboi's that basically DO NOT like any form of negative comment what so ever, they will stand up in a 1 man army against all who say their favourite prized possession mod has one single tiny negative....I wonder who that sounds like now...hmmmm)
I hope you read all that...if you didn't...don't comment until you do. I hope now that some people may understand that not all negative comments are bad, The comments Quoted above are fine, they were all constructive in their own way.
These are the positives I found in the negative quotes above.
1st quote:
Singleplayer was left out or something? Well..that tells me that Singleplayer was fun originally, and people don't want to see it go, so why get rid of something that isn't broken?
2nd quote:
Perhaps adding some zombies with clothes would help make things a little more convincing, maybe people will like the variation in zombie looks.
3rd quote:
A pistol is not a light item, it's not exactly burdening either...perhaps making the pistol not slow the character down would help during gameplay, players may choose smaller weapons for speed, and less power or larger weapons for more power but less speed.
4th quote:
There is a very small positive in this, but this fits into the category of abusive negative or flaming/trolling/negative as this can both provoke a flame war or a fanboi defence.
The positive side to this though, is that you can look at the difference between zombie AI in zombie horde, and KFmod, and see what works and what doesnt.
Although, this is about the least constructive and positive comment made of the 4 quotes.
Finally...the 5th quote (yes there is no 5th quote), which is the comments made by BlckWyverne are typical Immature fanboi comments..for reasons pretty damn obvious if you've read this far.
Yeah and now an old post I authed before yours, is on top O_o
What are the requirements for Unreal Tournament 2004? I want to try out that mod of yours... Could it run on my current machine? (very unlikely XD )
