Since you don't want to help with this, is there any way you can personally teach me anything so I can do more by myself?
Here is what I would like the mod to be like:
1. round-by-round gameplay like CS:S
2. buy areas for the tools, weapons, etc.
3. models that look like the guys from the anime (I REALLY need help with this because I suck at 3DsMax 9)
4. custom weapons (kunai, shuriken, etc)
5. coding to make everything actually work
6. a fair amount of maps (I have made one very simple one so far)
7. power-up kind of things/abilities (ex: kage-bunshin, sharingan, w/e)
I think modeling the weapons in this game would be easiest but I don't know where to start. (since the are flat-ish pointy things)
Could you make a tutorial for something?
"I have been part of a modteam of a Naruto mod. Although, it was disguised as a Samuraj VS Ninja mod. They had all the Naruto handsign magic things too. The thing is that the mod leader had delusions of grandeur. And just with people like this, it is impossible to work. They are:
1. 10-yearolds
2. Have no idea what "hard work" means
3. Want to be General Design manager. That means, looking at visuals and saying, "ok we can have that ingame".
4. They want you to make REALISTIC ninja mods with MAGIC FROM ANIME. And that i could not take. "
Aha! Someone who is willing to help make a Naruto mod! I know that this may be strange to ask here, but could you lend me some assistance in making a Naruto mod for HL2?
The team is useless so far (being myself and another map maker), we cannot code and do not know how to make a mod yet. But I feel that if I can get at least one experienced person (such as yourself) to help us out, it can become a good mod. When someone is willing to teach me, I listen, work, and do as much as I can to complete a project.
