Where there's a blog, there's a rant. Hello, folks. For those who remember, I did used to be a manager here, but I've stepped down from that position due to the lack of time required to run a site. None the less, I'll keep popping in now and again to let you all know what I'm up to.

I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do. The staff, including myself, poured in as much help as we could provide, and Scott made it happen. Mod DB is a constantly evolving community that has to meet new requirements as it grows. As such, many new features were implemented to fill them, including added tools and support for gaming consoles as well as PC.

Anyway, today's a short blog. There's no need for me to go on and I have a desperate need for sleep. Start here and experience the rest.

This group is for the former staff of Mod DB, who for reasons wide and varied are no longer part of the team.

Old Timers

Established Nov 09, 2007 With 59 members, must apply to join official group

For all the old skool modders that have stuck by Mod DB from v1 to v4. A lot has changed as over the years as the site moved from a dark v1 to a bright...

Senior Members

Senior members are members of the modDB community held in highesteem for their contributions to the site or their work on the staff.

v4 Bug Hunters

That did cross my mind. I didn't notice that a few of the PC games listed for DC ports before I made that comment, if they could just get Skies of Arcadia and the PC port of Sonic Adventure that would be my selling point. You should try Grandia II, Baldurs Gate, and MDK if you never have.

I'll admit its tempting but it kind of defeats the purpose if you already have or had 70% of those games for Console or PC, it still works if that other 30% is worthwhile though. The lack of Dreamcast games doesn't help and "Area 51" and "Time Crisis" (Arcade) aren't up there. :(

Despite my continuous bitching there, I would have to agree and say atleast its better than paying a monthly fee for a MMO where you just get a bunch of hackers and people who just bitch all the time...

Actually all three movies were based off the Fanfic. I remember seeing a RE Fanfic entitled After Life back in '01 or '02, but I couldn't find it after RE 1 came out. I never looked at it but I remember hearing about it being based off the fic way back then, only reason why I even remember it.

I thought it was like October when they renamed it to Extinction. Guess they had to seeing as how Anderson based the story of a Fanfic entitled "After Life", he was probably going to get sued for it.

Anderson completely decimated both the Alien and Predator franchises, I would rather watch Ressurection and Predator 2 than AvP. It also didn't help that he was biased for the Aliens keeping everything true to the original, and fucking around with the Predators characteristics.
