Having this weapon in the mod in any way shape or form, degrades it.
Sounds more like a shotgun to me.
I firmly believe it would be more fun to have only one gun. One you had to get very good with.

Doesn't sound like a particularly engaging storyline, and I think you're trying to go for a non-linear storyline. Its probably best to stick with one linear set of missions with a proper difficulty bellcurve.
Take the opening scene from starcraft where there are a few marines holed up in a bunker, and the battle cruiser above abandons them. They are quickly over-run and the marine the camera follows runs out of ammo. He does not (in fact) unleash his might katana of ***-kicking. Instead he cowers and ***** his suit. Later to be saved by a rocket or something.
Run out of ammo, you die. No swordplay PLEASE.

Those ramps stick out much too much. Make the plot square by extending the corners, and retexture the pillbox part to a dark, dirty metal.

Music is nice and all, not Blizzard quality by any means...but it should work. Despite that, music is the least of this mod's worries. Get to the meat of the project!
