I'm dave. I have a million hobbies, which include: Building my own motorcycle, in a band, designing Crimson Crow, ninjitsu (3 years now), Tae kwon do, Jeet kwon do, Fencing, Archery, Kenpo, Bass Guitar (6 years now), and cooking. I like to learn stuff, and I can learn quite quickly. Especially when it comes to programming.

If you read the summary, I'm actually a ninja.
I doubt many people are interested in me building a motorcycle, my game design rants, or why my influence is about 80% negative.

So instead I'll type about something actually somewhat interesting. Being a ninja.

I was testing a theory I had one day. How hard is it to see from bright light into extreme darkness.
Very much like being in a spotlight 2 o' clock in the morning. Anything but the spotlight area can't be seen too well.
So anyways I put this to a test.

I was hiding in the yard when suddenly the light went on. I simply sat in the area where the light couldn't hit me. (The light was around the corner).
Now to see how effective this is. I stood out in the open to get better results.
My friend walks up looking for me, and can't seem to find me.
This would seem pretty normal, but I was literally only 5 inches away. The only difference is I was in the shadow, he had the light on him.

This reminds me of another test. Me and some people were bored one summer. We decided who could hide the best without being found.
I once again had a test in mind. I was going to hide out in the open.

They looked for hours and hours. Till finally they called out. Little did they know I was 2 feet away.
I was wearing white clothes standing up against a wall. I had a white rag over my head, and as soon as I moved, everyone flipped back out of shock.

I've also used this trick in gaming. I simply stand up against a wall, and I'm gone. (If the colors match well.) Every single time its funny to see people jump when they realize your not a foot away.
