When i installed it this appeared to happen for me aswell but then i checked 'C:\Games\BtRL\Demo' directory to see if any files were installed and all files were installed correctly.

It may have worked for you aswell check C:\Games\BtRL\Demo directory then run:

RunMeFirst (Open AL 2006-12-12).exe

then:

BeyondtheRedLine.exe

GL, demo is great :)
