I'm currently working as Product Developer for a German Company specialising in new food ideas. I have always been writing short stories and also started writing film scripts a couple of years ago. Since I never was so keen about working on real-life sets, I decided to move into the digital realms and produce high quality machinima.

Hi modders of all kinds!

I'm posting a little update on our project MechOverride, which has been joined by some excellent people in the field of mapping and animations, lately. So, what's going on behind the scenes?

- the new, and final, script will be released in Episodes. I'm about 40% done with it. First three Episodes are written.
- Concept Art of our first biped Mech, nicknamed "Ike" has been approved of and gone into blueprinting
- Modeling on said Mech will be done by Toast, starting next week
- Texture Artist Kraphik3d has taken up his work on Rodas face texture and delivered stunning results
- Citizen_J is remodeling the characters head, because the WIP has some geometry problems
- Fábio has finished both versions of the gun and is working on the LOD model
- while waiting for the final head version, Kraphik3d is texturing the gun
- Angelo and NPX have been busy creating environment sketches and moody takes on our cityscapes,. I'm updating our image gallery soon
- Xenobite is rigging and animating the first models
- Brian Shipp is creating the sandbox map for all our testing needs
- Andrew aka Baldemyr is creating a corporate look for a evil empire (in clothes) and also designs our female lead's stealth-suit. After that he's on to Character concepts (General Aecius).

That's what's happening in the background and we steadily work towards a first release in November. I hope you'll enjoy watching this project a lot in the future, when you get to see details of the production process and come to understand our film's philosophy. We want to entertain you the best way we can. So order your MechOverride Popcorn - Maker, today!

Checked out bits an pieces of it, looks damn interesting and solid. In terms of actual design elements, what kind of style are you aiming for? I have two particular styles, a cartoony long stroke line work with soft pastel like colouring (similar to Cheeks-74, look him up), or refined detailed paints (colour and pencil, goes both ways) one thing my clients or even the boys at my job will tell you is that no matter what style I am for, humor always finds a way into my work. Attitude and personality is probably the most important thing to me when it comes to art. Each character, scene, environment, or creature visually represents its entire story with one look. Like the saying goes, 1 picture is worth 1,000 words.

I'd be interested in helping out, but not until we pass some major milestones at work. Keep in touch!

Yo SinKing :)

Yeah I have Doom3, it’s a really great game, got to download the Last Man Standing Coop perhaps Sunday if not too busy, yeah sorry that you have not seen me in KF, been giving my gamecube a shoot with resident evil 0, hard game because you always have to go back on yourself either to pick some item up or got to a sector to put the item in to work a machine or something!!!!!

Sin! Did you download this version Doom 3 Coop Mod Last Man Standing Coop 3.0 Official Windows Version Featuring Classic Doom Coop? Because I think that’s the one I’m downloading soon.

I’ll have to reinstall resurrection of evil too so we can play on the expansion maps. Recently bought a external hard drive 250GB of memory so I’m getting favourite games backup and put new ones on, like Land Of the Dead, Road to fiddles green, getting it Tuesday this week I hope.

Played on KF the other day, but I had been to the pub earlier so my head was spinning and still got to waves 8 on my own, weird playing killing floor when you have a few beers, feels like the specimens come right at you more.

What’s this Full Metal Jacket Mod about and which game does it require to play?
Out Of hell is another mod to watch out for, completely a single player mod, sounds good especially when I’m resident evil fan, like one man missions to hell and back.
Also got a mod for D3 called Event Horizon, based on the movie, it’s a nice little story mod with loading screen clips from the movie.

Have u been on Defence alliances 2 recently, as I uninstalled it as their was not many people playing it but….nvm….! Cool mod but too few people so it had to go!

Perhaps see you in killing floor tomorrow, I’ll be on a server perhaps after 1.00pm and we can arrange a time the D3 co op playing section once I have download it.

See ya when I see ya,
Try e-mailing me if you wont to Have a KF game,

Cheers for pm :)

Hey Sin, :)

Hope you are well!

Thanks for reply sorry for delay, been playing resident evil 4 on PC, hard game to get used to on pc!
No worries mate about killing floor, I’m just glad we had a lot of fun times in Killing floor. It seems all of the players that played killing floor when it was released last year have just disappeared but I’m still around teaching the newbies to try and keep them alive.

Anyway what is this Armed Assault like to play? And where can I get the game from so I could have a go?

Hi Sinking m8

I agree, the RPG system for KF takes all of the tactics and team spirit out of killing floor, but I still play mate, instead of using the RPG servers I play on the German server -ill-GEISTERBAHN server, which is set to ELITE against the specimens, really hard when gets past waves 7.

Anyway I’ve missed playing by your side mate in killing floor, you are a good co-op zombie killer, Especially with a hunting shotgun/shotgun in your armoury. If you ever decide to play KF again I will be on -ill-GEISTERBAHN server playing and killing what I can.

See you in game on this server if you decide to replay KF again.

I have played killing floor and it is rarely fun, its plagued with extremely annoying bugs and its very bland.
