I hope this doesn't lead to a cheap tactic where you can just wait behind cover until the AI has stupidly wasted all of its primary ammo while trying to shoot/suppress you- making them a considerably smaller threat after that, with only their pistols

Invulnerable enemies, unless they have a bulletproof shield don't make any sense. If devs want to make fighting blood suckers more challenging then they should make their movement speed faster

Mutations can go both ways- they can cripple(most of the time) but also enhance some aspects, like in MISERY's explanation of things where animals' nervous system is messed up and they don't feel pain; so it's plausible. As for the anomalies, yeah they are a bit difficult to find a reasonable explanation but well- that's why they're called anomalies, they have anomalous properties caused by forces we're not familiar with. Maybe tiny "mutated" black holes or something..?

Having features that are realistic or at least plausible make it that much more awesome for me; so the more realistic explanation things have the better (while still maintaining the fun factor). Exactly what laws of nature do you think are not depicted correctly in STALKER?

I gave it some thought and logically an electromagnetic emission is just a pulse, a wave moving through space so it can't stay in one place for some time and "leave a residue" like I mention. But what I think it can do is give small particles (like dust that has been blown up into the air by wind) an electric charge, which can disrupt electrical devices like night vision and flashlights etc. and make them flicker for example. I'm no physicist so I'm not sure how realistic this would actually be

Wow, that's an awesome idea! Maybe even have that effect stay for a while even after the emission has stopped, like there's some electromagnetic residue still in the air (I'm not sure if that's realistic though)

I know this is just personal preference but I'm sure many would agree that you should play the un-modded vanilla CoP first (maybe add some graphics enhancers and better skybox texture, but nothing else). MISERY gives you a completely different experience compared to the vanilla game which represents GSC's vision of how the game should look and feel and would make a logical next step assuming you played vanilla SoC and Clear Sky before

Beta testing doesn't usually mean playing the game in the sense that people normally play. When you test a game you are supposed to look for bugs and try to intentionally "break" the game, so I'm pretty sure you won't be able to immerse yourself in the game like you normally would.

So no, I would definitely not accept that offer

16GB is total overkill for gaming, there's no game out there that uses more than 4GB, they mostly use around 3GB max; so 6GB of RAM is enough for now to have some breathing room (taken into consideration that you have other programs/Windows itself using some of it) and 8GB would be considered future-proof

Mine too. There's just something about that whole atmosphere of Mirror's Edge that no other game has. Those kind of sterile looking modern, newly built buildings give me a sort of dream-like feeling for some reason and I just can't get enough of it. I keep coming back to this game again and again, even though I've already completed it like 10 times already
