Looks cool, but the distance at which the bloodsucker grabs you sill bothers me.
I'm pretty sure that it's supposed to look like the bloodsucker is holding you in his grasp, like his hands are on your shoulders/face, but in this pic it looks like his hands are just in front of your face. I think you should bring him closer

I think it's an awesome idea. Think about it- you have to sneak near the enemy base, then build it, and then defend it at all cost. It's a great risk, but if you succeed, there won't be much left of your enemy's base. There are going to be epic defensive battles over this thing, especially because your enemy is sh!tting his pants when he sees that thing near his base, all defended and stuff

Hey is there any chance of you guys making a more mutant-oriented version of this mod?
From the first time I heard about STALKER and its lore, I really hoped that 3/4 of action is taking place against mutants and 1/4 against other humans. But I see that CoP:Redux focuses more on the "you vs other humans aspect"
Before you start whining, remind yourself that this mod aims for realism. How do you think a mutant that's just a mutated animal/human is supposed to withstand any sort of bullets? They haven't grown friggen steel plates all over their body ffs

Holden, LURK 1.1 is just awesome, but I have one small request.
The thing is that I like playing without the crosshair, but I'm having a lot of trouble distinguishing friend from foe. The crosshair helps out a lot here as it turns red when aimed at an enemy, but that big white cross just looks so damn ugly.
Is it possible to remove those 4 lined that form the cross and just leave the inner small white dot? Like when you have unequipped your weapon.
I'd really really appreciate it

There's a section of Red Forest in ShoC too. You know, the part with a lot of pseudo dogs, before the brain scorcher. Or maybe you haven't gone through the forest itself and always used the road right of the Red Forest, the one that's littered with mercenaries.

But one question- a while ago I made a suggestion about seeing your own shadow in first person view. Have you looked into this? Can it be done? It would make me want to play the underground levels even more, add to that the new HDR effects and high-res textures and stuff...Oh boy, I can't wait!!!
Yep, same here, I finished CoP when it first came out and then just didn't launch it because at that time Holden had announced in one of his news that he's working on a CoP version of LURK, so I decided to just wait until LURK for CoP is out before I'm going to play it through for the second time.
But I see now that holden is quite fed up with this whole modding thing, so I don't think it'll happen any time soon...
