Yes I remember this pattern too :P
Unless the zombie is soaked in gasoline I can't think of a reason why it should light on fire to be honest. As far as i know NMRiH is still trying to be semi-realistic
Have you tried DXtory for recording?
Is the black screen during the cookin process just a placeholder or is it going to be like that in the release?
Because right now it feels like the character just faints and wakes up with cooked meat in his pockets :D (I understand animating it, especially with the X-Ray engine is very time consuming; or even impossible in this case?)
Even just staring at the ground and hearing cooking noises would be better IMO; it would be even better if you could see the character put the small stove on the ground and then hear cooking noises
"Game Oven". How stupid can I be -__-...
Wow, it sounds almost exactly like the original voice actor
Wow, looks amazing!
Happy B-day man!
So currently the only person "working" at GSC is the owner?
Wait so GSC isn't closed? I thought the team changed their name to Vostok Games and are now working on a new IP called Survarium...?
That looks super nice!
Simple, yet beautiful
Congrats on the release guys! Awesome work!
Haven't played PR for about 3 years now. Will definitely give the 1.0 a go!
Props to Shadows!
Wow this looks really awesome already!
You guys are nuts :D
I just love the X-Ray engine's lighting
I haven't played CoP for ages but it looks like the Jupiter plant
Looks absolutely sweet!
Oh you're right. My bad
Awesome model and texture as always!
One thing though- why does the bottom one have more support beams between its left wings than it has on the right side?
Oh, that's a real pity :(
One thing that bothered me though was that the NPC at 00:21 didn't seem to notice your headlamp's light at all and just walked straight into you. Was the NPC awareness turned off or is there no way to make them notice you when they see your lamp's light? (it's been a VERY long time since I played CoP so I don't remember how the AI behaved in situations like this)
The site looks really awesome btw, very professional
Combine this with the Oculus Rift and you've got one hell of an immersive experience
If your PC can't run System Shock 2 then there's no way you'll be able to play STALKER, let alone MISERY
I meant guessing as in relying on the feeling of how heavy the item feels in your hands -the player character should be able to at least do that instead of having no info at all about the item's weight. This is especially important for weapons because the same two weapons with one having parts made out of different(lighter) materials can have significantly different weights. But IMHO not knowing the exact weight would just be annoying and wouldn't add anything special to the game
I think the exact weight is just there to help manage the load limit and help in assessing the weight/value ratio when you're over encumbered and have to throw some things out. And not knowing the weight at all wouldn't make any sense because in real life you can roughly guess an item's weight when you hold it in your hands
