Can't believe the progress this mod has made. I remember when the city of Isengard was just a normal Roman city with all the buildings removed, a huge bunch of hills around the sides, and a black texturing on everything. The new models are fantastic, keep up the great work!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! You managed to make an animated bow and arrow? I remember playing this about 2 years ago, it was fantastic. When i reinstalled RTW, i grabbed this mod again but was put off by the newly added voice acting for the Gondor faction.
Reckon i'll reinstall RTW (again) just for this mod!

Would have been better, in my opinion, to keep with the 1940s theme. We don't have any WW2 zombie RTS games (let alone normal ones, but that ruins my point) :(
Besides that, i had fun with the beta.

It's amazing to see this fantastic mod still being supported. It's been a year since i last played, looking forward to this 2.08 patch.

Community rating of 9.4, with 152 votes submitted. I can guarantee that there's no virus.
That said, my anti virus hasn't picked anything up. It's entirely clean.

Name any other faction with a suppression breaker early game. There are none. It's VERY imbalanced to have 6 suppresed enemy squads instantly jump up and flank your bunker early game.
The brit LT has a similar ability which arrives at vet 1 by the way. But i have to agree, vetting command squads is very difficult.

Fantastic, why on earth do games not include scabbards? Do all swords in RPGs just magically float on the sides/backs of characters? At least add a skill we have to invest in to get floaty swords... D:

If only someone could make a scabbard+holster mod for Fallout 3 :(

Just like Woodstock, i don't get an email sent after signing up. It's been about 18 hours, and i've tried with 2 email accounts.

Honestly, why do we even need to sign up on your website?

Sorry if this has been asked or mentioned, but is the poly count of the new units/maps around that of the vanilla coh units/maps?
I'm not running on a super high rig or anything, so an FPS drop means a lot to me :(

I gave it a 9/10.
It's amazing, i won't deny. But there's a lot of balance issues already pointed out, and a handful of bugs.
Another small issue is that the mod uses a huge amount of polys compared to the original coh. For example, when a tank gets blown out, instead of turning into a charred corpse, it turns into a pretty awesome looking rusted wreck. While this is more realistic, i think there should be an option for lower end PCs to turn that off.
Besides that, this is an amazing mod. Utterly amazing.

Anyone got any idea about the performance impact the mod might have?
And to the devs, do the new models have a hugely larger poly count than the original COH models, or are they about equal?

You see, i've not got a "gaming rig", just an HD2400, which, amazingly, runs the vanilla game on medium at a decent frame rate, but it'll be a real kick in the face to find the mod "unplayable".
Also, is there a "story" mode, sort of so we can get introduced to the units?
