Writer/Translator
Grimm Bros is seeking a talented creative writer to join our team to localize and translate our twisted fairy tale RPG Dragon Fin Soup! Applicants must demonstrate their writing and translation skills and ability to creatively translate jokes and nuanced tones/meanings in dialogue. We are looking for candidates local to the Philadelphia area, but are willing to work remotely with qualified writers.

Writing & Translation Sample:
All candidates when applying MUST submit a 1 paragraph writing sample and a 1 paragraph translation of the following passage into a language of your choice. (Think "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" meets the Classic "Evil Dead")

Requirements:
- Fluent Native Speaker in one of the following languages: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Polish, Mandarin, Portuguese/Brazilian.
- Experience or background in writing fiction, translation and creative writing.
- Great communication skills and collaborative disposition
- Professional proactive approach to writing with the ability to process feedback and hit deadlines
- Understanding of geek and gamer culture a MUST!
- Game Industry experience or being an avid gamer a plus

About Dragon Fin Soup:
The world of Dragon Fin Soup begins on the back of Asura, a giant dragon­ turtle god who swims the multiverse of space-­time. Players can choose to unravel the tale of their character in Story Mode, embark on a journey to discover the wilds of Asura in Survival Mode, or get lost in an endless maze and fight monstrous bosses in Endless Labyrinth mode.

With experienced team members located in Philadelphia, Bangkok, Chicago, San Francisco and London, Grimm Bros works together online making games from its various home offices, pubs and cafes. Our 5-person development team has been working on Dragon Fin Soup for over 1 ½ years with the help and support of our amazing friends, family, and backers. We have 3 great programmers, a freelance composer, and one guy who is doing ALL the graphics, sfx, and design!
