Lives will be ruined or saved depending on the moral choices faced by the player. Innocents will go to prison and suspects will roam free if you are caught violating his civil rights or are caught planting evidence.

Should you just shoot the suspect, what will happen then? Is he truly the suspect or did you just kill an innocent? What will happen now that you just killed an unarmed suspect execution style?

If you are a fan of story driven, choice based games such as the ones made by Telltale "I know I am", then this project may be for you!
From every bullet fired, every fight fought, and every choice made will I hope inspire others to feel pumped and exited when they start a new episode of our game. Anything can and will happen.

Our game will be a realistic, 2d, side-scrolling, emotionally story-driven, case-investigating, choice based adventure; Where anything can happen even the smallest of decisions may have a profound impact that spans all future episodes.

[Drank some coffee before heading to the crime scene? Bad time to need the bathroom because while you were in there the suspect managed to slip past the front desk and escape. Guess I shouldn't have drunk that coffee huh?]

Formatted episodically, each episode will contain a new case while pushing the story forward. Depending how the player interacts with the world and its people he may find himself surrounded by friends or enemies, can he really trust his partner? Will his partner even survive beyond the first episode?

Set in a modern but stark and supernatural America, and inspired by the films I love. Such as Four Horsemen 2009 and Deliver Us From Evil 2014. You will encounter strange forces that will challenge and disturbed the player as he progresses through our bleak and paranormal world.

By writing in-depth, complex and absorbing cases for the player to solve with a gripping story and a fully-fleshed cast of characters that will make you weep, think, and on occasion laugh; as you uncover the hidden lives and beautifully written back stories of our heroes and heroines, villains and villainesses that connect each and every episode.

Payment

Our current business model is [Profit Share] Each episode that you are a part of will add to the royalties you receive. Each percentage will vary from person to person based on the effort and workload they put into each episode.

Deadline

Currently as it's the first episode we have no deadline. However after the first episode there will be deadlines set between 1-2 months.

Final Thoughts

First off, don't worry, this is the first episode and we intend to take it slow so as to ensure that we achieve the highest quality possible.

You will not be expected to work on this all day every day. Generally we all have lives, so dedicating just an hour or two everyday or every-other-day is fine.

You will be expected to keep a record on what you have done, we will be using Trello.
