Looking for unity c# developers with in depth knowledge of extending the unity editor. This means property drawers. Custom components. Inspector's and so on.
We are building a framework of highly customizable components that will enhance unity for both runtime and design time. The games we are building right now will run on this framework but essentially the tools and customisations we create will be released as assets to the unity store.
Knowledge of sound, modelling, rigging, animation, shader programming, proceduralization and noises are all advantages.

Can you think abstract? Can you make code reusable in different contexts? Do you feel unity should have more capability and features as standard with less croft? Can you reduce workflow? Find better ways of doing repetitive tasks?
This position is unpaid but you will be part of an active team.
Right now we are trying to build momentum, identify serious individuals, who think big and act on it. No drama. No politicking or racial issues. Must be mature, able to get along with others. Able to sort problems without resorting to flaming and I quit!

Essentially, it is a business we are making. Not just a game. Not just assets. But like many of you we are a startup with little financial investment and don't plan on relying only on kickstarter.
Once we have an active crew, once progress is made as a reasonable rate and profit is been generated, those who are active and have integrated with the team we will discuss payment and wages.
This role won't suit anyone looking for a wage right now. Nor will it suit anyone who is not financially secure themselves or do not have commitment or time and just want to join a game crew for the sake of it. It's not always glamour. And there is some tedious and difficult work. Thankfully we have a good crew.

You would be joining a crew of two other developers (not including myself) in the dev team. You will be focused on tool development. You will be expected to work with graphics and modellers, sound guys and marketing teams and also provide support to them. In addition, we would expect some level of support on the unity community forums for the assets.

Profit on assests is distributed among those working on them and their level of contributions. So while we are not offering a specific wage, we do want to test the waters and develop for the asset store on the way to our full fledged games. So you get out what you out in. No free rides.
You will be expected to use Slack (for which we use for chat along with out facebook pages). In addition to attending at least two of the weekly skyoe meetings a month. If your voice shy and don't have a mic. Sorry.
Knowledge of git is an advantage. Generalists over specialists preferred. Knowledge of other software packages used by other departments an advantage. Eg. 3d studio. Rigging. Modelling. Vertex editing. Nornals. Tesselation. Substances. And so fourth.

You will be active in the areas you have interest and you will get to work with others with similiar interests.
We have a team atm who have been working on prototypes, the GDD and other material for the past year or thereabouts. Some are part time. Some are full-time. Some work in the industry. Some don't but want to. And some are students.

The common trends are we all want to make it in games, be it developer or artist or marketing, sales or management. We all take responsibility for our own actions and our own work and we want to foster an environment where progress is made in a fun, fulfilling way, not restricted by time zones or deadlines
