I'm a 26 years old man living in los angeles. I've made only 1 (really bad but original) game before and I failed my last project because I wasn't able to work with a big team where every member was in a different city so now I'm working on a smaller project and I want to work on it with only 2 other persons that lives in los angeles or at least in california.

the game is a 2D turn-based RPG. the whole game will be in urban areas and there will be a controversial story that will push the player to think about all the things that are wrong with our society. the game will tell the story of a teenager who goes trough a lot of experiences and end up getting a clearer understanding of the world. the gameplay will be close to shin megami tensei 3 but with some things that haven't been done in any other RPG. I prefer to work on unity since I have worked with it before.

so as I said I'm looking for:

1 PROGRAMMER
you have to be able to program most aspects of the gameplay by yourself and also make a prototype of the basic gameplay in a few weeks. I have some experience with C# so I can help with small tasks but you will have to do the rest.

1 PIXEL ARTIST
you have to be able to make characters and level assets similar to chroma squad or eboy's cities(this is just a reference, I'm not asking for the same quality). being detail oriented or being able to work without concept art is a big plus.

I'm only looking for people that can actually meet to work on the project together in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. it's really hard to work with people in different cities or country. whether you're a programmer or a pixel artist, you can help me with some of the design part if you're interested.

the job will not be payed so I can understand if you cannot work too much on this because of another actual job but we need to make even a small progress at least every week. the benefits from the final game will be equally shared by the way.

a lot of people just want to get some experience whether the project fails or succeed but I'm really trying to start a game design career so I would love to work with same minded and motivated people. undertale was made by only two people so if we put time and effort in it we can make a good game with a team of 3.
