VONNEO Games is looking for a programmer for a 2D fighting game inspired by Super Smash Bros. and Street Fighter. It will have different stages will all sorts of variety mixed with traditional Health Bar mechanics.
Our goal is to make an ultimate crossover fighting game with as many iconic characters and with their best representations as possible.
The game will be a Free to Play PC game and we're aiming for HD 16-Bit graphics with sprites and 2D stage designs. The engine is up to the programmer's choice, as long as it meets the style we're trying to achieve.
We're working on the first alpha version and it will feature five characters, three stages and menus such as Character Select, Main Menu, Title Screen, Stage Select, Controls and Options. We will add five more characters and three more stages after each update.
Experience and/or education is not required for application, but we'd like the programmer to have basic knowledge.
