But there was Ian Banks and his scat fetish...

Its called a Knight Class-Titan. Basicaly its a baby titan.
That model is of the original Epic Warlord titan. It has 4 weapon mounts, two on the back/carapace and 1 on each arm. Knights only had arm weapon mounts, much like the Warhound titan, but were half the size.
