how many days does it take to get from front to back by just walking?
Never thought of that, I guess 3 days or a week perhaps.
six weeks ago fred decided he walk to the far end of the ship. fred has not been seen since

Is there is some kind of train system on that ship?
Given its size theres has to be something like that.
If so, it's probably powered by coal.
Coal powered lifts and trams are state of the art and highly expensive technologies. The Emperor does not approve of such expensive luxuries being installed on his warships; such trivialities may be reserved for privately owned vessels.
Here in the Imperium, we power our trams with slave labour and lots and lots of pulleys. Like a boss.

Of course Fred was never seen again. He walked into restricted areas.
