I like the shots bouncing off the terminator. And even the Dreadnought having his own hood.

i saw a conversion where someone had given their Contemptor a hood and i liked the idea enough to steal it

Looks damn cool. Also good photoshop work, at first I though this was some of the offical Horus Heresy novel art.
I may have asked this before, but do you make the models yourself? Pretty sure most of it isn't featured in any game to date.

they're a fusion of stuff i made and stuff i ported from Space Marine, DoW2, Firestorm Over Kaurava and others. for example, the Mk2 armor model's body was originally the basic Mk7 armor from Space Marine.

The Contemptor Dreadnought's armor i've modeled and textured myself, while its joints and other mechanical parts were recycled from the SM multiplayer Dreadnought model.

the Cataphractii Terminator armor is mostly custom - the forearms, joints, belt piece, feet, pelvis, some tiny bits all around and parts of the helmet are ported Space Marine pieces, the rest i modeled and textured myself. the topknot is the tail of some werewolf model from i-don't-even-remember-anymore.

they also feature a ton of small detail bits most of which i've modeled myself and mapped to either existing textures or new ones. a good example of this would be the helmet wings (my model, textures from SM) and the Forge World-style Dark Angels Legion helmets (main headpiece from SM, faceplate completely custom - applies to the Mk3 helmets too.)

since Relic Entertainment's Space Marines in the eponymous game were literally perfect, i'm doing my damnedest to keep the art style consistent, and it's sometimes hard even for me to tell where official stuff ends and homemade pieces begin.
