Silly Tau, all "join the greater good!" If any single other faction in the whole universe focused on you, you'd be absolutely toast. The only reason you're still here is that the galaxy is full of people gunning for the Imperium.

I think you blue-skinned space commies should really meet the Orks. You'd be best buddies for sure!

And it's pretty damn ironic the Tau are the only beacon of hope in WH40K, but what is saving them so far is dumb luck, they are kinda like that ironic joke GW pulled on us "They are this way because they are yet to found out how ****** up the galaxy is and they will be."

I think the Tau are cool(besides they are the only race that are actively improving their tech), but I still prefer the Imperial Guard.

they are actively trying to improve their tech because they have enough "breathe"! Mankind is 24/7 having a world war somewhere, Orkz being Orkz and Eldars keep cursing Slaneesh 24/7

Again I never get why people keep comparing the Tau to communists their entire culture and society is based on a caste system similar to Ancient Indian civilizations with each caste like air and fire biologically similar but still different :/ The whole greater good thing is primarily necessary just to keep them from killing each other all over again since they are all inherently so different from each other.

For example the fire caste Tau are shorter and physically stronger than their lighter air caste pilot counter parts.

Perhaps im taking this too seriously but in my mind as an older 3rd edition table top player its certain IG factions that are communist like and that was before the Tau even existed in the WH40K universe.

For example the Valhallan Ice Warriors and their commissars.

Tau are still pretty cool, just I find it funny that the only reason they're still around is that the galaxy is a very very bad place.

The Greater Good is more like Socialism than Communism actually. Tau culturistic structure is much more like Japanese than anything Russian if you ask me.

Indeed its culture is like a mix between that of India and Japan.

They're weak in close combat, but it's very, very difficult to force them into close combat.

Also, do people mean communism that actually sort of works, or like full on Soviet Communism, because, the Imperium has Stalinism covered.

@jlolment(reply button fail)
When Tau get forced into close combat they deploy Kroot and Vespid.
