The chapter was formed to create another Daemonhunter force, besides the Grey knights. So their speciality: combating daemons.

Because (if I'm wrong don't hate me) if you get possessed and fight it off you become an illuminati(however it's spelled). I read something like that on the Lexi-Wiki website.
idk about that i think the illuminati are the emperors kids idk dont quote me. but when you get taken over and then forcefully evict the daemon its like you lose your soul. every soul is shown in the warp but the exorcists are almost turned off. only really powerfull demons can see them lol they are ******* beast
