most of the graphic novel this scene is from actually takes place in the Warp, so that eye thing could be anything really
wasn't this is an image of Battle of Calth where the battle is in high orbit over planet Calth which mean still in real space
no, this is after Macragge's Honour follows the traitors into the Immaterium. the initial confrontation happens above Calth, but the Word Bearer battle barge flees the scene and most of the actual battle takes place in the Warp.
I have this comic. Pretty good art if I say so myself.
