I'm putting everything on Luke dying. Jedi's are cool, but even they can't match a Space Marine.
Jedi's are humans with a little bit of a psykic boost.
Space Marines no longer count as humans, they are that badass.
right, with all that genetical upgrades n stuff they re not rly 'regular' humans anymore.

I think it is too unfair...Space Marine could kill him so fast...hes only playing with him
actually i would have to say EU Luke would win. after return of the jedi he becomes such a baddass that he can move black holes with the force, and the fact that luke is swinging a weapon that burns as hot as the sun, space marine armor isnt gunna do ****.

the astartes wields a powersword, a weapon that melts thru (tank)amor like a hot does thru butter. n even if lukes is "such a badass", i'd bet my left ball, "moving black holes" is a lil hard, even for the big balls jedi master skywalker. yes, luke's fighting with a lightsaber that cuts thru the astartes' armor. but even that amror is better than having no armor at all... like luke has none ;)so, all my money on the astartes!!!

well take into account that if you can imagine him moving a black hole, imagine what he can do to a single space marine in power armor. and yea it takes quite a bit for him to be able to move black holes, but a space marine is a bit smaller. if he wanted to he could make the space marine implode quite easily, and i know wtf a power sword is.
As we all know, when **** like that with the force goes down you need all your mind to be focused on it. That isn't going to work here sunshine, where its speed that counts and the space marine holds all the cards for swordsmanship and speed over luke. If like can get a gap, the odds slip more in his favour but until he gets that 10 second gap he is in trouble. Even if he does a quick shove back, a bolt pistol is never far away.
space marine would have a better shot with a bolter to be honest, well that is assuming that luke isnt quick enough to just push them back toward the space marine.
Nah, EU Luke couldn't kill a Space Marine.
I say that because EU killed Luke for me.
Yea they turned him a bit to the side of mega op
and allot of what he does goes against what movie luke would be like, for instance for a bit he gets an ego and thinks that he can go down the dark path and quit anytime he wants.
One lasgun hit would kill Luke, trololo
but what if they made the power sword out of the metal that is impervious to lightsabers.... i think the SM would destroy Luke
there are very few materials within 40k that could and they arent really good for making swords out of. there are a few materials that are lightsaber resistant in the star wars universe but they are only "resistant" and still don't hold up to very many hits or sustained contact
there needs to be a deadliest warrior episode for this

im pretty sure Jedi's cant block bullets maybe force push can do something. But any continuous rapid firing using small caliber rounds would own a Jedi.
as for the lightsaber....plasma pistols fires pretty much the same stuff the saber is made of. or a plasma cannon=D
Luke can't, but The Apprentice sure can.
