Americans? Do you see that guy's tash?! I am half expecting him to shout 'Bombardier! Bang on!'
I would say that Catachans are probably space Americans, with all that macho Rambo going on.
Though I think that Praetorians are more Victorian "gentlemen" Brits, while Cadians seems to be a mix of all the English speaking countries.
Master gurkis, I think you are right about the Cathachan part. They are based on US soldiers who fought in Vietnam, hence the jungle dirt and the bandanas..
