something about this situation tells me the Commissar has at least twenty layers of plot armor, so that Tyrant is pretty fcked
This is actually a Swarmlord.
which as we all know is visually indistinguishable from a normal Hive Tyrant in most interpretations and i thus rule my mistake somewhat understandable

I play the game intensively; if he should even have a "chance" of going up against THE Swarmlord he would of course need the best upgrades he could get and a Power Fist - he has a power sword, which won't even scratch that thing. Also, of course he'd need an Army of tanks and guardsmen behind him.
