Space Marine is too short, needs to be 1-3 heads taller. Plus Astartes are bulky from all the increased muscle and bone mass. This guy looks too thin and would look like a twig under that armor.
The Space Marine's proportions and appearance are generally completely effed up. That's not a gene-engineered killing machine, it's a boy band frontman.
And what about the Sororitas? Looks more like a supermodel than a battle-hardened warrior.
A shame that the artist clearly has absolutely zero respect for the source material, because on the technical side the pic is very very nicely done.
Totally agree. There's no denying the artist's ability, yet the source material has been an absolute squander on this one.
