Ironically tho in the PS2 game Fire Warrior you can kill a SM with that sword ;3 just takes quite a few wackes to chip away at the armor before you get through it. :P also hard to do on the hardest difficulty as the marine will just pistol whip you with his bolter or worse simply pop a bolt in your face point blank >_<

i'd feel a lot more threatened if the Tau were any good at close combat..
I'd laugh if the new Tau codex made them somewhat good at melee
Think it would suit the Tau if they gave them some sort of martial arts swordsmanship so they can atleast fight Eldar and IG in melee.
