Did they steal a bunch of Tau gear? Looks like tech-heresy to me.
that artwork is from the dornian heresy. is actually a cool fan spinoff of the 40k universe
Hey, when you run out of ammo; you have to make do with what's available.
they actually made a truce with the Tau, traded some tech, then curbstomped the Tau with the looted tech. because in the Dornian Heresy, the Ultramarines seceded from the Imperium and turned into Reasonable Marines.
Mark 16 "Damocles" pattern power armor for those wondering.
this armor actually looks very cool. I'd wear it.
