some dark eldar just want to see the imperium burn
Hell, many Imperials want to see the Imperium burn...
The Dark Eldar would probably prefer to see it bleed, kick and scream though - burning is too quick for their tastes...
Keep them alive as long as possible to keep Slaanesh satisfied.
